I am half Russian and half German! My native language is Russian, SIBERIAN accent! I can tell students a lot and teach them speak Russian like it their native tongue. I teach pronunciation workshop to help them sound like Russians, speaking session to help them know details in it, and grammar to be fluent in their speech.

I am a native Russian speaker born and raised in Moscow. I graduated from Moscow Pedagogical University and received my Master's degree in Russian and French Languages and Literature from Portland State University. I have an Oregon teaching license and am certified to teach both French and Russian. For the past 25 years I have been traveling the world and working as a French and Russian teacher in international schools in Germany, Pakistan, Belgium, Egypt and Kuwait. My name is Elena and I am a firm believer that anyone can learn new languages.
Language is a system which can be hacked with all the necessary tools provided by a teacher. And that is precisely what I am doing at my lessons.
As I have been tutoring for more than 5 years in Russian and English, I have developed my own style: every student requires an individual approach and encouragement to learn autonomously. My lessons are built around students' needs. It can include syllabus, videos, presentations or simply a day-to-day conversation.
I can also describe myself as a tech-savvy person. Implementing new technologies in studying is a part of my teaching process.
