I'm Valentina and I'm Italian, born and raised in Torino, Italy. I've just moved here in Michigan and I'm very excited to share my language and tradition here! Our high school son was studying a semester in Italy and knew no Italian. We hired Valentina after reading the great reviews and were more than pleased. She was flexible and accommodating to a very tight schedule and our son learned a lot from her. She sprinkled in some cultural and historical lessons on Italy but primarily language. Valentina is high energy, organized and a great teacher. High marks for punctuality, personality and teaching! She even offered to help him once in Italy which we may explore if needed. Thanks Valentina! A wonderful experience.

First lesson was good, although we had some technical difficulties using Skype -- probably my fault not Valentina's -- and ended up speaking by phone. Once we get that worked out, I expect to improve my conversational Italian, with special emphasis on conjugating verbs. So wonderful to speak with someone whose first language is Italian.
