I took up harmonica when I started songwriting, about five years ago. Inspired by Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and other pop/rock acts, I incorporated diatonic harp playing into my original songs. I later picked up blues style playing, improvisation, and other techniques. I'm happy to share my skills and techniques with harmonica players of all skill levels.
I studied music at UCF (Orlando), focusing on classical and jazz guitar, but I also have years of experience playing rock, blues, folk, hip-hop, and musical theater on both guitar and drums.
I have been teaching guitar, drums, and piano for about eight years to students of all ages. Music is what I'm passionate about and it's what I enjoy. I want to inspire that same passion into the hearts and minds of others.

I was nervous before I arrived and excited when I left. She was nice and very patient. Her professionalism is a confidence boost at least for me it was. She’s excellent, so if you’re trying to decide on a instructor, look no further.
I can teach you how to play a mean blues harp, great for blues jams with friends!

I have an earned Masters degree in music and enjoy teaching students of all ages. I am happily married with 5 children at home--4 of them are musicians as well (the youngest is 4).. Students will quickly learn not only the basics of music theory, but will be playing songs as early as their first lesson. It is extremely rewarding watching students have fun, excel, and fall in love with making music. I presently teach music at 3 schools (1 college) and only have a few lessons slots available. I look forward to working with you.

My name is Alex P., I'm an experienced harmonica-player, teacher and singer-songwriter. I have taught in Russia since 2008, toured with my band, and have been uploading successful harmonica lessons on Youtube, getting more than 30k views. When I teach a create a program based on student's needs, we figure out his level first and then the exercises that would be useful for HIM. First part of the lesson is studying techniques and at the end we usually go through a song. I can take a student of any level.
Hello everyone. Just a quick review.i have only had one lesson with alex but the hour was remarkably positive. It's the first time I have ever played in front of someone and so was very tense and struggled to play how I normally do .but alex was very patient with me and I enjoyed the whole experience. I will definitely have other lessons and would highly recommend him.its the best chance to learn from a true master and one of the best in the world at playing harmonica. So why not especially at such a reasonable price.

Alex is a brilliant player and teacher. I went from being someone who thought they were decent to someone who knew I was pretty amateur to someone who began to learn the art for real. I have continued to learn and I am getting a lot of feedback that I playing has improved exponentially. I would recommend Alex without reservation.
The chromatic harmonica was my first instrument which I taught myself by ear at the age of 5. It's perfect for playing melodies. I can play "blues harp" as well which is also a lot of fun and has a different kind of expressive feel with the bending. Whichever one you're interested in learning, I can help you hit the ground running with one of the most portable and enjoyable instruments out there! It's all about the feeling and the fun of it!
About Mark V
Mark V has been “Specializing In Melody” since the age of 5 when he discovered his natural ability to play and create catchy tunes by teaching himself the harmonica by ear. He went on to learn the accordion at 10, the piano at 12, MIDI and synthesizers at 15, the guitar at 30, and a long list of other exotic instruments along the way, completely by ear. He has collected rare synthesizers since 1984 and has well over a 100 in his collection. Mark V is also Pro Tools certified and has been teaching Pro Tools, MIDI, music production, composing, keyboard techniques & sound design since 1998 having won numerous academic awards. Mark V has a BA from UCSC in an individual major of Audio/Visual Composition. He wears many hats including his first passion as a prolific composer, BMI/BMG songwriter, producer, sound designer, Pro Tools editor, MI
DI expert & programmer, writer, consultant & teacher inspiring his students to become better than they ever dreamed possible all while having FUN!
I really appreciate Mark's teaching ability. He breathes music and make it easy to understand. I wasn't expecting to make that much progress or to have that depth of knowledge of music or my instrument in only 5 lessons. He gives a lot and he is eager to respond to my questions. I recommend Mark as a accordion teacher.

Mark V. was great. He knew how to keep class fun and engaging. He truly cares and teaches piano in a way that is intuitive and can be applied to more than one instrument.

I like Mark's approach in teaching, he gives a lot of useful information within the time of the lesson, and it keeps me busy until the next lesson. I love the classes!
You can expect me to listen to what you tell me, listen to how you play, and then give you information and activities to increase your understanding and develop your abilities. It could be anything from which end of the harmonica is up to advanced classical or jazz performance, or anything in between - blues harp, Neil Young, you name it.
My focus is on you - helping you achieve your goals with the harmonica, whatever they may be. Whatever inspires you to pick up the harmonica, whoever you want to emulate, whatever style grabs you, I bring the background, deep knowledge, and teaching experience to enrich your understanding and grow your skills and ability to express yourself musically.
I'm a harmonica specialist, known internationally as a player and teacher. I'm the author of the books Harmonica For Dummies and Blues Harmonica For Dummies. I can teach all styles, all levels of expertise and all types of harmonica.
"Sasha is a wonderful teacher. She has encouraged my 11 year old daughter to love the harmonica. She is professional, talents and an excellent teacher."
"Good start to my first music lesson in my life"
"Working with Clint was great. I learned a lot about the pucker style of playing and breathing. I am confident that I will learn to play comfortably."
"My husband and I started our not-quite four and a half year old son with harmonica lessons with Adam in February of this year. Our motivation was not to
create a prodigy musician, just to give our son a unique and fun experience with an instrument we enjoy the sound of. We, Adam included, were a bit skeptical as to how far we could take the harmonica with a four year old. Adam however, rose to the challenge, creating a lesson plan that matched our son's ability, motivation and attention span. He started off with simple tasks, such as making sure the numbers on the harmonica were facing up before playing (i.e. getting our son to hold his instrument properly). Such a simple task but perfect for pumping up a four year old's confidence and psyche before starting each lesson. As the lessons got more and more involved, Adam consistently stuck to one very important element: keeping it fun. And now 3 months later, thanks to Adam's outstanding teaching ability and unmatched creativity, I'm ecstatic to report that my son can play a real no-kidding blues shuffle. He's not just blowing sounds out of his instrument, he's making actual music; music that makes one want to tap a foot to. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience with Adam. He has far exceeded our expectations. We (and especially our son) are looking forward to continued learning on the harmonica with Adam."
"Ronnie is professional, polite and patient. He is knowledgeable and understands both music and the principles of teaching well."
"Winslow is an excellent teacher and I feel fortunate to be learning from him. He is a harmonica master, both in his playing and in his in deep knowledge o
f the mechanics of the harp and how to play it. He has literally written books on learning to play (Harmonica for Dummies, Blues Harmonica for Dummies). What I like about our lessons is that he's a great listener. He can hear where I need work and he offers not just one but often several exercises and riffs that address the issue. In addition, he knows the blues, the players, the songs, and the harp riffs for reference. To top it off his manner is light and warm. I feel honored to be learning from him."
"Love these lessons with Jordan! They're fun, informative, and low-key. The Skype lessons are a great learning environment, and I'm still challenged and le
arning a ton from Jordan."
"I'm kind of old fashion cause I like face-to-face lessons vs online. I am very grateful Ronnie is within the area. Best music instructor I have ever had.
I am soaking up everything he says, his explanations are flawless. I'm already looking forward for the next lesson."
"James was great! He clearly showed me some basic steps in learning how to play the Harmonica and I am looking forward to more lessons with him. He has a
