Hello! I'm a native Japanese speaker and experienced Japanese tutor. I have been tutoring Japanese since when I was in university as a TA for international students. I adopt the best teaching method and material for each student's needs and make sure that learning experience is fun and effective.

Konnichiwa!!!! My name is Mari and I am a native Japanese speaker fluent in both English and Japanese. I grew up in the States but speak Japanese regularly with my parents and Japanese friends.

For my lessons we will craft a learning experience based around your interests and hobbies as well as your learning style, and integrate them with the language for maximum immersion and continued interest in the language and learning process.

During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a president of SUNY Albany Japanese Student Association and also worked as a TA for Japanese 101 classes, and I absolutely love to teach languages! I understand it is often very hard to find a language tutor outside of the spoken community, and I hope to provide you with the opportunity to be exposed to authentic media sources to acquire natural fluency.
