I am an experienced Spanish tutor of 10 years. I was born and raised in Cuba where I received my bachelors and masters degree. I am a full time dancer and part time Spanish teacher living in NYC. My classes are catered to each student, focused on strengthening and nuturing each individual in order to achieve their academic goals. My goal is to empower and open doors for my students. I am fluent in English but my native tongue is Spanish. I am very passionate about teaching and I am experienced in working with people of all ages. Its never too late to learn a new language!

I have been teaching Spanish for 10 years. I have a specific teaching curriculum with an emphasis on proper pronunciation and useful phrases to ensure improvement within two weeks of lessons! I believe speaking another language should be a joyful experience and one that will be a positive change in your life. I teach other languages as well such as Portuguese, French and Haitian Creole. I want my students to reach their potential to communicate with the world outside of English.

I have been a Spanish instructor teaching at the post-secondary level for seven years, where I have taught first and second-year Spanish as well as composition classes, and classes for Spanish heritage Speakers. As a Spanish instructor, I have had the opportunity to work with a diversity of students, from different backgrounds. As a Spanish instructor, one of the most important goals in class is to help students learn the language properly. Furthermore, one of my objectives is to motivate students fulfill their potential and imbued them an interest for the Spanish language as well as the Hispanic culture. It is also of my interest that my students get involved and enjoy non-academic activities where they can have the opportunity to practice the target language as well as the culture.
