Hi, there! My name is Stephanie and I look forward to working with you. Swing dancing is so much fun and can be as laid back or as energetic as you want.... I've been teaching private lessons since 2008 and have loved helping my students feel good about what they are learning, and accomplishing the goals they set forth.

Swing dance is a really fun an easy style of dance to accomplish! It can be danced to essentially every style of music. It is a Ballroom dance in the Rhythm category. With me you will learn swing steps, turns, and stylistic qualities to really make you stand out on the dance floor! Fun for all ages, I teach east and west coast swing.

No experience needed, Sophie will help you reach your goals by sharing her knowledge and passion for partner dancing.
We will work as a team and follow your comfort, learning pace.
You will feel set up for success and ready to burn the dance floor ( or your kitchen floor in the meantime that social dancing starts again :-) !!)

I competed in International Ballroom Latin Dance from the age of 8-18. When attending NYU I began to teach and choreograph in nyc studios. Everything from self confidence dance lessons, to wedding dance choreography. Private and group lessons.

I quickly noticed the immensely therapeutic effects of taking dance lessons for my students, everything from self esteem to confidence to take their partner onto the dance floor. As well as building trust in connection. I became a dance therapist in 2007 and have been working with it since.

But I LOVE partner dance. So I offer everything from;

I am a classically trained dancer with 20 years experience in performance. I have always been passionate about historic costumes and was introduced to historic dance while getting my degree from Ga. State University. I am currently the director of the Atlanta Historic Dance Company. I've performed, taught and choreographed for performances on stage, at historic events and in the film industry for the last 10 years.
Historic Dance can run the gamut between beginning level dances up to professional level performance. I can tailor your lesson to fit your needs. The most popular lesson at the moment is the 1920's Charleston. I can also offer lessons in popular social dances from the Renaissance up through the 1960's.

My name is Steve and I offer Private Online Dance Lessons. I specialize in teaching beginners and I enjoy watching my students progress quickly and meet their goals. If you have always wanted to learn a specific type of dance but never knew where to start then I think my services would be a perfect fit for you.
