Whether you are interested to sing in a belt, mix, head, chest voice or all of the above, I can help you! By using well-thought scaffolding methods, based on research, experience, and clinical training my students are given the opportunity to project their voice in a healthy manner and with an extensive vocal range up to five octaves. I train students and professionals for all types of auditions and performances.
I believe that progressive teaching must employ constructive pedagogical strategies to foster meaningful musical experiences for students to build and to exhibit competence. My pedagogical model is comprised of a student-centered approach to produce attainable challenges and to affect affirmative changes that will physically, technically, and emotionally enrich each student's performance.
During instruction, I exercise scaffolding methods to facilitate the students' zone of proximal development and innovative questioning to augment students' cognitive thinking and critical thinking skills. The process of musical learning is purposeful when it is facilitated within a nurturing environment to motivate the students' intrinsic interests and that is my goal!
Currently, I prepare my students for singing auditions o
n Broadway and off-Broadway productions, CCM Singing Competitions, Commercials, Musical Theatre Productions, The Voice, X-Factor, American Idol, Specialized Performance Schools, College Music Performances, and Choirs. A number of my piano students prepare for the NYSSMA and ABRSM examinations. As a clinical trained Vocologist, I also work with students to correct vocal fold injuries and to prevent further trauma, as well to improve phonatory production during singing.

Fay is such an amazing teacher! I got into Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School thanks to her. Best Teacher I've had, she helps train your voice and goes through the vocal anatomy so you understand techniques such as proper breathing, posture, coordination, grounding, acting, diction...etc. I've been her student for about a year three years now and I have to say that my voice has improved so much as a performer all thanks to her! If you get the chance, at least take a class, you will not regret it!

About Luther A.
Luther unique talents as educator, instrumentalist, conductor, vocal coach, cinematographer, composer and arranger make him a sought-after teacher. Currently, Luther is working with the Bridgeport Board of Education at Roosevelt Elementary School for President Obama's Arts and Humanities Turn-Around Arts Initiative he is the Executive Director and Program Director of Blackwell's School of Music and Film and Minister of Music Director for New Hope Missionary Baptist Youth Singers.
Luther stays where I’m at and then helps me go the next step. That is useful for consistent gradual progress without the frustrations of moving either too slow or too fast (I am a beginning tenor saxophone player). Nice interpersonal style, patient and easy going, while methodical.

I think Luther is great. He works with my 10-year old son on piano, singing and even trumpet and violin as needed. My son has to work hard to progress, and Luther customizes the lesson plan for him and seems to understand him well. I'm really excited about them working together.
I'm a professional singer, actor and voice teacher living and working in NY. I work with students on building a solid vocal technique and developing healthy singing habits. Working together we will develop the skills required to hone your craft and help you reach your full potential as a singer. I believe it is never too early or too late to study voice. If you are looking to prepare for auditions and/or performances, we will work on "acting the song" and interpretation as well!
Hi! I'm a professional singer, actor, and voice teacher and I love teaching my craft. I am a certified VIP (Vocology In Practice) teacher, and I offer affordable voice lessons in NYC, Queens, and Long Island. I am very passionate about healthy singing and firmly believe that armed with the proper knowledge and tools anyone can learn to sing! In terms of children, it has been proven that children who study music are happier, smarter, and more confident. I will introduce your child to the joy of music not just by singing songs, but in a course that teaches music literacy, vocal technique, and ear training as well. Most importantly, we are having fun while taking this journey! I can also work with you/your child on acting monologues and/or sides for auditions. This especially comes in handy while preparing for musical theatre auditions. Chee
I have been studying Broadway singers for years. I have been a Musical Theatre performer for years and I am still studying singing, acting and dancing. I am still young and know what it feels to want to better yourself everyday, so I can relate to most learning students. I put a lot of importance to vocal training, technique and warm-ups.
Lehman College, Bachelors of Fine Arts, Graduate! I am a Musical Theatre Performer. I perform all the time and believe that warm-ups are a big importance when it comes to performing. Technique is something I have been studying for a while, and I am consistently learning what new techniques work for myself too. I teach singing, acting and other subjects too, check them out!

Hi! I'm an opera singer on a journey for technique perfection. I've had many different processes from where i've learned amazing voice and life lessons that have showed me the different processes of voice in humans, for young and more experienced singers, i try to teach them how to sing in a natural way without forcing themselves, the basics of technique like breathing, mouth and throat position, vocalizes, how to sing free and how to flow when you're singing! etc...
I consider myself a really easy going teacher, i know how to treat people in an empathic way so they can learn faster and in an easy environment. I don't believe in pushing the student but to let them be free and find only freedom and love in practicing to find the real flow of music. If you prefer that i pressure you, i can also!
I see singing as a way to vibrate with the universe, the best and more powerful way that we can vibrate with it!
Looking forward to meet you! :)
My name is Adriana and i'm a Classical Music Singer and Teacher I sing Classical, Opera. I can also help you with other styles like pop and Broadway. Have you ever thought of signing up for a marathon if you’re the type that gets tired running for five minutes? I’d say most people wouldn’t take a chance like that.
Many singers, though, believe that they are ready to perform for hours in gigs or rehearsals even without any previous vocal technique endurance. Asking …
