I took the AP German class and exam. I've studied Italian for 5 years and tutored it for 2 years. I've studied Italian, German, and French, so I am well-versed in how to teach and learn a language. I am able to teach students of all levels of experience/aptitude. I have been tutoring and teaching for 7 years in a wide variety of subjects, including English, Writing, Literature, and Music. I received a BS in Music for Cello and Voice, graduating magna cum laude with high honors (Honors College). I'm fun and friendly. I believe in creating a relaxed work environment while continually moving ahead.

About Aiden
I'm a professional opera singer and published writer. I have my BS and MM. I'm fun, patient, and find the best way to teach each individual. I love to help each person find their personal artistry.

I always keep my appointments and arrive on time with lots of positive energy and enthusiasm.

I love Italy and lived there for about 1 month. As Italian is very similar to Spanish I was able to pick it up with relative ease and can help beginner learners take their first steps!

About Mark
Hey everybody! Hola and Ni Hao. My name is Mark and I'm a Language Tutor, Yoga Instructor & Organic Farmer with an International MBA and minors in both Spanish and Mandarin. With over 20 years of foreign language study, and 10 years teaching foreign languages to others, I know exactly what works and what doesn't when it comes to learning a new language.

I recently moved to Aurora, CO in order to be closer to my family since I have spent the past 12 years traveling the world.

I am a certified K-12 substitute teacher in the state of Colorado, and will be teaching a Spanish immersion class for 3 months starting in January. I have the flexibility to work with you around your schedule and will create a customized lesson plan that fits your needs and unique learning methods.

My main requirement of you as a student is to be committ
ed and dedicated to learning the language we are studying and to work on the homework assignments I provide.

Hope to talk to you soon!

Hi Future Students,

If you love the Italian culture and would like to learn how to speak Italian, I'm your girl!! I studied for 4 years in college and moved there for some time. I can help you with your hw and I can also help you, if you just want to learn some basic phrases to get around.

About Deborah
I have so many different things I teach. If you are looking for a voice teacher, I definitely can be of help. I have been singing all of my life. I sing in many different genres like pop, gospel, R&B, and classical. I can even help if you want to be an opera singer, as I am studying to be one myself at the Aaron Copland of Music. First things we would start to do is learn how to breathe. After the student understands good breath, then we will apply it to actual singing.

I also teach Italian, and have taught the language for 3 years in a private school. I lived in Italy for a while and I just love the language. If anyone needs a tutor, I can help!

I also teach art history, and art as far as drawing and painting. So if any parent wants for their child learn how to express themselves through painting or drawing, I can do that as well!!

I love to do all of these things, as I have a great passion for them! I hope I can inspire someone else.

I have my questions answer and I also understand them as well. I am sure I have more and have confidence they will be answer....

Being a native Italian and having lived in Rome for over 30 years gives me the necessary knowledge to know what is needed in order to learn the Italian language and get deeper into the Italian culture. Also having over 20 years of teaching experience allows me to tailor my knowledge to the need of every particular student. I really enjoy to transfer my knowledge and solve the unique problems that every student encounter during their path.

About Andrea
Bassist and composer Andrea Veneziani performs extensively within the improvised music scene, across a broad spectrum of genres. His instrumental tone, sensitivity and imagination, and melodic approach to a supposedly clumsy instrument brought him to perform and record with many established musicians. Based in New York City, his work as an instrumentalist and composer can be regularly heard at the top jazz clubs in the city and around the globe.

As a current faculty member of the New York Jazz Workshop, Andrea Veneziani is a dedicated educator. He has taught master classes at the National Institute of Music and the National University of Costa Rica, at the Bońüazi√ßi University in Istanbul, Turkey and at the Olav Duun Videreg√•ende Skole in Namsos, Norway. He also served as an adjunct professor at New York University, where he graduated i
n 2011 with a Master of Music Degree in Performance with a Concentration in Jazz as a Fulbright scholarship recipient.

I was born and raised in Sardinia, an island in the south of Italy and I'm very excited to share my language and traditions here! While traveling for my job and research I have been teaching Italian in a relaxed informal setting to all my international friends for the past 10 years.

About Stefano
Ciao! I was born in Sardinia, a beautiful island in the Mediterranean sea. After completing my masters I obtained a PhD in Neuroscience. During the past 10 years I have traveled a lot and lived between New Mexico, Bordeaux (France), and Japan. These experiences allowed me to meet amazing people, understand and appreciate different cultures, and try new flavors, while sharing the regional specialties of my native island. I practiced formal teaching in the University setting and during workshops.

I love the outdoors, and of course preparing and enjoying a delicious meal!

Many Italian teachers are native speakers, but I earned my fluency just like you will- with study, practice, and immersion. I got my BA with Honors in Italian from Vassar College after studying for a semester at the Università di Bologna and completing my full-length musicological thesis on Italian Opera, written entirely in Italian.

As a non-native speaker, I had to learn the language inside and out. I already had to conquer every linguistical challenge that you will face on your journey with Italian, so I know how to teach the language in a way that English speakers like you can understand! We can work together to develop a curriculum that will help you reach your goals of learning the most beautiful language in the world.

About Madeline
I'm an opera singer who's been making music since before I could talk, and I can't wait to share my love of music with you! I graduated from Vassar College with my BA in Music and Italian in 2016 and recently moved to New York to pursue my career. I have experience teaching Voice, Piano, and Early Childhood music lessons.

I began taking voice lessons at age 11. I had wonderful teachers who taught me classical technique to keep my voice healthy, supported, and controlled. Though I later chose to pursue a career in classical music, I initially was interested in musical theater. I am eternally grateful to my teachers for teaching me to sing classically and I maintain that all voice students should have that same foundation in classical bel canto technique, regardless of their preferred performance genre- good technique can be applied to wh
atever you sing!

In addition to Voice, I teaching beginning piano. I began studying piano long before voice, when I was only five years old. Learning to play the piano is crucial for any aspiring musician and aids in the development of fine motor skills, reading skills, and math skills in young children.

Whatever your skill level and whatever your goals, I would love to work with you to develop your musical skills. I feel confident that we can make some amazing music together!

I was born in Italy and lived there for 36 years. I went to school there and I have a Bachelor Degree from one of the oldest Universities in Europe, the University of Verona. Before college, I attended the Liceo Linguistico, where I extensively studied Italian Grammar in connection to Latin, French and German. I can honestly say I master the Italian grammar in all of its structures.
I have been working in Customer Service for an American Bank in Italy for the last 10 years. In addition to that, I have been tutoring students of different ages, Elementary School all the way to High School, since I was in college. The subjects I covered were for the most part English, Italian and Math. I was also tutoring adults who wanted to learn English as beginners or improve their conversation skills. I loved my job at the bank, but at the same time there was nothing more satisfying than seeing my students succeed: I have always enjoyed helping people improve their communication skills and improve ...

About Francesca
I was born and raised in Vicenza, an hour west from Venice. My husband is American, we met in Italy and after living together there for 15 years, we decided to move back to the US last Summer. We have two kids, 7 and 4, who are perfectly bilingual.
I have always enjoyed teaching English to little kids and adult friends in Italy, so I can only enjoy teaching Italian even more. Although I'm enjoying this adventure in the US, I miss my country tremendously and teaching and speaking my own language is one of the things that excites me the most. I have also travelled Italy and most of Europe extensively, and I love discussing about all the different cultural environments that I've experienced.
