After years of performing in the studio and on stage it was only natural that she start musically directing and producing. With production comes recording after recording. Francesca now runs ProTools and Login in her studio daily and will show you the quick path towards recording your demo.
Alumnae of CSULAs music department with an emphasis in classical voice and guitar, Francesca's skills cover a vast ocean of information. With a background and formal education in opera and "the classics", Francesca is equally comfortable on stage at The House of Blues as she is at Disney Hall.
Francesca started teaching music at the early age of 16 with great success. She has honed her skills both in the private studio and in the classroom. Having served as musical faculty the California Music Academy, Cornelia Connelly High School, Pasadena Saturday Music Conservatory, and East Los Angeles College, having led choirs of 70+ high school girls and sung before sold out audiences of thousands of screaming fans, having toured 4 continents singing both classical repertoire and performing in commercial rock bands, having sung for president
s and princes, Francesca has high expectations and is skilled in helping her students reach their goals.
Now performing in the Donald Brinager Singers, a studio choir for-hire, Francesca can often be seen performing with orchestras throughout Southern California. While mentoring through her award-winning teaching studio, Francesca also manages to perform several showcases featuring her original music with her amazing back-up ensemble.
With a constant effort to maintain a professional studio learning environment and with a focus on reading skills and solid technique, Francesca's students enjoy lessons packed with information and light-heartedness. The one on one experience you will have the moment you walk thru the door promises to be unmatched. Francesca's students can be seen on major television networks, radio stations and performing around town in various projects. A Note From Francesca:
My official bio is listed below, but perhaps more important than the things I have done are the things that I am doing. I am now approaching my 15th year of teaching. I love to teach! I carry a minimum of 30 students, but have carried more then 80 at one time, and have never once complained. My waiting list cycles based on my performance schedule and recording schedule. If you don't see a time that works for you, feel free to reach out and see if we can find something that works, as an artist, my schedule can be quite full but also quite flexible. I love my students, I get to do what I love all day and I am sure it shows. I have a blast discovering new ways to experience music with "my kids." I call all of my students kids even though most of my studio consists of young adults. I try to have a young air in my classes at all times as it just makes the process so much more fun for everyone.
I've seen it all in through years: kids, adults, beginners and advanced students. I am personally very interested in being the most versatile musician possible and I love being able to share my knowledge with my students. We can study anything and everything from Classical Guitar to Electric Guitar Shredding; from Opera to Kelly Clarkson; from Tchaikovsky to Little Richard! I love getting students to dabble in little bits of all genres, often getting even the most skeptical student singing and playing comfortably in a matter of just a few weeks. My students will be able to read music for their favorite tunes and understand how to improvise from the start. Once you come in, you'll be hooked. You will have fun because I am having fun!
I encourage all of my students to share their favorite music with me. It affords me the opportunity to learn more about what they desire to learn and what types of music they enjoy. We will learn with your music often. After all, isn't that why you are coming to see me? I will introduce you to new sounds and styles, but will foster your love for music, and do my best to never force my music on students. I feel I learn as much from my students when I truly listen to them and their music as they do from me.
On site lessons are available for artists recording demos, rehearsing bands and setting up their own studios.
On a side note, I love seeing students at my shows! I am a full time musician and can be seen playing with my band, in my own solo project and in various choral settings. Check out my website and see what I do outside of the classroom. My students get a kick out of the idea that they can buy a CD with their teachers face on it, and to be honest, so do I. Many of my students have their own music out on iTunes and YouTube. Many more can be seen performing around town in solo projects and professional ensembles.

I feel obligated to share my joys and experiences-
Not many people have been blessed to sing alongside as many renowned musicians as I have - I've been lucky to be welcomed in both the commercial and classical worlds and they have both afforded me venues to use my voice and express the most vital corners of my soul. To find your purpose through art is one of the greatest gifts you can receive. And to be able to do that in front of thousands of music lovers live or over the airwaves is a surreal experience.
It's funny, my classical cronies are impressed to hear my stories of packed rock gigs at the House Blues and national touring festivals like Warped Tour and my rock buddies ask to hear my stories of Disney Hall performances with the LA Phil. To be honest, Iâ'm impressed to be there too. Sometimes, I look around and think, how did I get here? How did I get lucky enough to live the dream, to find a home in music?
I've been luckier than most. I've had GREAT mentors who have always pushed me forward and shared their wisdom freely with me. Part of the classical musician's central goal is to educate. That's a value I carry into my rock projects and production studio. Work smarter, not harder. Take the needed skills, create art, teach others how to do the same thing, move forward together to live happier, more productive lives filled with purpose.
I have come to be known as one of the top Musical Mentors & Artist Development Experts on the west coast. A behind the scenes- diva of dream building with the skills to push artists to the next level- the ace up the sleeve of many of today working talents. In my award winning studio, I spend time coaching the young voices and faces of today hottest TV shows seen on ABC, Nickelodeon, and the Disney Channel, but I still have a soft spot for up and comers in the indie music world. Having written and performed my own music for decades, I not only lived the collegiate experience of the elite classical performer singing for presidents and world leaders, but also the dingy road of the rock musician who's showed one night to a packed stadium full of fans and showed up another, thousands of miles from home to play to a coffee shop of 5 people. Music has brought me to nearly every continent and introduced me to some of the most talented and diverse people you can imagine. I feel compelled to share these experiences with those around me so that they my develop the vision, the salt and the skills to persevere.
I am, above all, an artist & creator- living the dream, helping people- like you find their voice and write their songs. Turning raw emotion into art.
Each one of us has a story, our truth. Being an artist is about finding ourselves, our song and expressing it publicly so that we may heal, so that we may grow.
It doesn't take a ton of experience to write a hit song. It doesn't take a fancy education or a family line of talent (though it can help). We can all find our voice, our place in the spotlight, what it takes is the courage to take the next step forward.
You've already had the genius to be in the right place at the right time. Here. If you've made it this far, chances are you are smart enough, hungry enough and ready to take the plunge.
Inside my studio you will find the help you seek. I can impart you with proven techniques to strengthen your sound, develop your tone through strong technique, develop strategies to share your art and develop a plan to turn pipe dreams into reality. Some desire to sing on the worlds brightest stages, others strive to lead others through teaching themselves, and some wish for nothing more than to experience music in a confident manner among friends. All can be lead on this personal journey of the artistic soul and all can make their offering to the musical gods. There is a place at the table for anyone seeking an answer.
I have been seeing Francesca for a year now. I LOVE going to my voice lessons because I know I'm going to get so much more than just a voice lesson. She always welcomes me with an open heart and love. The studios are a nice cheerful, safe space to be vulnerable while singing. My teacher is my biggest cheerleader, that's always available for a hug or advise. I'm lucky to call her my friend now. Francesca is my voice teacher and life coach. She makes me work hard and always WANT to learn more. I really couldn't recommend her more highly. She's who you need to see if you are looking to expand your artistry. I was so glad she took my call and welcomed me into her studio. It's evident that she loves what are she does. While every pro singer in town ends up at BugByte, I also see Francesca and her assistants working with beginners. So there's room for everyone there, unsurprisingly.

Francesca is awesome! She is very knowledgeable and creates a really cool, welcoming environment. I had never had a voice instructor before and I wasn’t very confident with singing, but these sessions are really helping me work through that! Francesca is very encouraging and she creates lessons around the music that interests you! She taught me some really useful exercises to help me improve with range, pitch, etc. also, gives tools and homework to take home and practice! I’m stoked I found such a great voice instructor! Her dog is awesome too. 😎🤘

He has lived in the United States since the 1980's, where he studied composition and mallet technique on the vibraphone at the Berklee School in Boston, then moved to New York City to further his jazz performance and percussion skills. Since that time, Marc has toured the U.S., Europe, Japan and Brazil, and can be heard on over 20 recordings, including 4 solo albums. Marc's interest in electronics led him to push the boundaries of live performance with the "electronic vibraphone", where he is recognized as a pioneer on this instrument. Beside a performer and a composer, Marc teaches workshops here and in Europe, and is very involved in making computers accessible to visually impaired musicians. Marc has just p

Marc is extremely patient and passionate about his teaching. Not only does he emphasize the basic techniques for a beginner like me to master, but also make it fun for me. He also tries to motivate me with music theory and history which definitely help me understand the music better and inspire me to master the basics. Marc has an amazingly amount of knowledge in everything else as well, such as physics etc. that shows up in his teaching from time to time, which makes the learning experience much richer!

Marc is an incredibly friendly drum coach who also knows when to push his students to their limits. He has the rare ability to inspire his students so that they perform to the best of their abilities. If you don't sign up with Marc for your next drum lesson, I would suggest re-evaluating your decisions.

Marc is a great teacher. Classes are always very friendly and productive. In my case, each class begins with a review of progress/practice, and ends with a meaningful and personalized homework. He is also very flexible, sometimes I had to move my classes around and he's always super responsive and understanding. I knew nothing about drums, and I am happy I decided to begin my journey to learn how to play them, with Marc as a mentor!

About Matthew J
I currently work as a freelance music producer as well as a guitar/bass teacher and as a music software teacher. I have been playing guitar for 18 years and teaching guitar and bass for 9 years. I have worked as a private and group guitar instructor at several music education establishments in the Chicago, Los Angeles and in Eugene, Oregon as well. I have also worked as a band coach for youth groups, where I taught them cover songs, helped them write their own songs and prepared them for live performances. I studied at Columbia College Chicago majoring in Classical Guitar, Latin Music and Music Theory. I started taking private guitar lessons as a teenager for several years and played in my high school jazz band along with original rock bands. While in high school, I was able to study with popular Chicago rock virtuoso guitarist Kev
in M. Buck, where I first learned music theory and was inspired to be more studious with the guitar.
I have performed in rock/modern bands for 12 years as an electric guitarist and also for 4 years as a solo acoustic guitarist mixing Bossa Nova, Classical Guitar and original compositions into my performance repertoire.
*** Lesson Details *** For Music Software Lessons - Logic Pro X , Ableton Live, Garageband, Pro Tools and Reason-

For instrument lessons- I'm a patient teacher that's passionate about guitar and helping students reach their musical goals whether they are casual players or serious musicians. For beginners, I use Hal Leonard instructional guitar books along with paper handouts and sheet music. I believe it's important for everyone to learn the fundamentals of music to create a strong base of skills in order to continue playing and learning music throughout one's life. For more experienced players, I like to teach various modern rock/pop songs, classical guitar songs, picking patterns, finger picking patters, improvisation, scales and music theory. I teach nylon string acoustic, steel string acoustic guitar and electric guitar and bass I believe the most basic goal for a guitar student is to be able to play a song in it's entirety, whether it's by themselves or with other musicians/music students. I believe that some of the most important music skills are learned while actually playing with other musicians. It is crucial when learning an instrument to be able to play in 'real time'; playing music with a steady sense of rhythm.
*** Specialties *** I teach Classical Guitar, Brazilian Jazz, bass guitar, rock, pop, blues, funk and folk guitar using method books, sheet music and guitar tablature.
Absolute joy to be taught by Matt, knowledgeable, encouraging and enthusiastic. (Timely as well if that's important to you!), i learnt an awful lot from Matt and felt fortunate to have chosen him as my teacher.

Ryan's method and personality really clicked with my son. We definitely picked the right teacher!
September 29, 2017
Ryan is professional and easy going at the same time. So far so good. I'm excited to keep going.
November 9, 2016
Ryan takes his time and tailors my lessons specifically to my level and to the type of music I’d like to play. He covers everything from the basics – like the proper way to hold the pick – to more advanced teachings like music theory. Ryan is flexible, patient, easy going, and he consistently teaches at a pace that I’m comfortable with. He provides take-home practice after every lesson and always has helpful suggestions any time I have questions. What I find incredibly helpful is that at the end of the lesson Ryan will run through the take-home practice on his guitar and let me record it on my phone so it’s easier for me to remember. When I’m ready to practice the next day I just pull up his notes and the video and I’m ready to go!
It’s obvious that Ryan has a passion for music, and it shows in his lessons. I would easily give him my highest recommendation.

I would highly recommend Tony Mitri as a voice and music instructor. My son takes lessons with Mr. Mitri and his progress has been astounding! He studies with other teachers previously without much success. My son has said he has learned more from Mr. Mitri than all of his previous instructors. He enjoys the lessons so he works harder at making progress and it shows. He helped him expand his range substantially, and increase his confidence. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in music of any kind. Mr.Mitri is awesome professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been recording music back In Mozambique where I was born and in the USA. I am working as a freelance Recording and Mixing engineer
Albino was born in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, a country in southern Africa known for its rich musical and cultural heritage. Fueled by the resourcefulness and determination that have always characterized Mozambicans, he built his first guitar at 16 from a 5-liter can of oil, scrap wood, and strings made out of electrical cords.
Drawn to the sounds of neighborhood street musicians in Maputo, Albino began to play in a number of local bands. As with his home-made guitar, Albino wanted to combine styles and incorporate diverse elements in his music. For his talents to grow, he knew he needed experience new places, cultures, and sounds.
While studying music education and Performance at Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Mozambique, he heard about the Berklee School of Music in Boston, USA, where he could expand his musical horizons
. Soon after, he was one of the first students to receive a full scholarship to Berklee through the African Scholars program. In 2009, he settled in Boston, Massachusetts.
At Berklee, he was exposed to a variety of influences, but wanted to go deeper into the roots of jazz and expand his knowledge of music. He auditioned and was selected to participate in the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, which is directed by Danilo Perez and the residency teachers, including Joe Lovano John Patitucci, and Terri Lyne Carrington. The Institute emphasizes an artist's original vision in jazz, and has helped Albino find his own unique voice in the art form.
Albino still felt the absence of his own Mozambican traditions in his music. With the help of his mentors, Richard Bona and Lionel Loueke, two of the most prominent African musicians in the United States of America today, he began to bridge that gap.
Today, Albino's music succeeds in combining many disparate parts into an organic whole. It incorporates his musical experiences from Mozambique, the U.S., and many other places around the world, combining rhythmic patterns and musical concepts to create a unique Moz-Jazz sound. He will always continue to combine and capture the energies of different musical traditions to create a unified and original musical style.
Albino's original composition “Mozambique Dance” was recorded by Jazz Revelation Records, a student-run record label at the Berklee College of Music, for the 8th annual album released in 2011. He also recorded “Awusiwana,” his own composition, for the Berklee 2012 summer album. His debut album, also called Mozambique Dance, is to be released in Spring 2013.
Albino is an active musician, and has performed in several countries including Mozambique, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Italy, the U.S., and Mexico. He has also produced and recorded various projects in Mozambique and in the United States. In 2012, he will graduate from Berklee College with a degree in Music Production & Engineering and Performance, and a minor in Acoustics and Electronics.

Albino is an amazing teacher and musician. He has the ability to inspire you musically and make you feel very comfortable while doing it. He has taught me many new approaches, tips, and tricks to music theory. He has helped me to be able to really understand why things are the way they are, and not just figure things out on paper like an equation. Definitely the best tutor I've ever had! I'd highly recommend him.
I have been working as a professional musician since 1987. In that time, I've played many roles alongside a wide range of established and emerging talent, from around the world, including band leader, accompanist, music producer, composer, arranger, co-writer, teacher, coach and mentor. Along the way, I have continued to pursue my passion for education, teaching private music lessons to amateurs, professionals and hobbyists from all walks of life.
As a recording artist, I have had four (4) independent releases. As a writer/producer, I have worked on projects with Amy Wilcox (Crazy Hearts: Nashville, A&E-TV), Haden Carpenter (Big Smo, A&E-TV), The Worsties, Ben Cyllus, Tara O'Grady, The Wailin' Canes, The LiNE and Sam Hunter, and enjoyed six (6) synchs on network and cable television including one (1) on The Good Guys (FOX), two (2) on Real World: St. Thomas (MTV) and three (3) on Bad Girls Club (Oxygen).
Beginner, intermediate and advanced are all welcome. I give the same attention to teaching amateurs as I do professionals.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy: Forty-eight (48) hours advance notice is necessary to cancel or reschedule any lesson. Otherwise, students are responsible for the full payment. In the event of a last-minute reschedule, with your cooperation, I will always do my best to find us a make-up slot. However, I cannot guarantee one. This option is only available if it does not postpone any future lessons or exceed seven (7) days. Thank you, in advance, for your consideration and cooperation.
Alan is a fantastic teacher! Both for voice and guitar, he will be patient and thorough, building solid technique but also adding your emotional and creative abilities to be more musical !

"When my Dad Lou turned 100 years old, and since he always liked to sing, we contacted Randy to make a record for the occasion. My dad had a good voice, b
ut with Randy at the piano (and adding an orchestra to the mix!!) my dad could easily have given Frank Sinatra a run for his money!! Randy was gracious, considerate and attentive to Lou’s every thought and his every tone. Lou is almost 102 now, and is quickly changing. I keep the record in my car and play it often, remembering and cherishing and tearing up for the good times it brings to mind."
