Lia was an AMAZING meditation teacher! She was calm, patient and very 'Zen' for our entire lesson, which really helped me to relax and calm down myself. Her instructions were easy to follow and I was able to achieve a deep level of relaxation normally absent from my meditations! Using the skills and techniques I learned from Lia, I now have a much easier time getting into 'the zone' every time I sit down to meditate :) thanks Lia!

Billie began knitting at age 4. Over the decades she has knit everything from slippers, afghans, jackets, sweaters, baby clothes to dishtowels. She is a retired educational consultant who worked with parents and teachers to bring learning toys to children in their most formative years. She understands how life in our fast-paced world can lead one to feel the need to multi-task. Knitting allows you to do just that! You can have conversations or watch a film on Netflix while turning a piece of yarn into something useful, one stitch at a time. But it's also very relaxing, once you're up to speed. Billie is a patient teacher who will ensure that you'll be knitting in no time.

In your first class you'll learn how to cast on, and do the knit and purl stitches.
If time permits, you'll also learn how to bind off. Billie can help you select patterns to make things that will be at the right skill level for you.

I have been taking lessons with Dipankar for the last 2 months and it has been a great experience!. Dipankar really is a tremendous teacher, who quickly identifies my weaknesses as a player, which allows me me work towards eliminating those weaknesses.

My weakness is that I have the tendency to rush, or to assume that a move is the correct one, when it's not! Dipankar's system has taught me to stop assuming, to look for further moves and to choose the correct move more often than before.

My Chess rating has gone up and I am a much stronger player today thanks to Dipankar! I strongly recommend him to any Player that wants to improve.

Dipankar, is an excellent chess instructor. He currently teaches my 8 yr old daughter, and 12 yr old son. They are two completely different types of students however Dipankar has adapted to their individual personality types and the way that they learn. Dipankar is very knowledgeable and well equipped to teach young players and improve their skills. Dipankar has patience, and more importantly teaches them good habits that will help them far beyond chess. My children enjoy lessons with Dipankar they laugh and learn.
