I've been teaching calculus for twenty years and my students have gone from no knowledge at all to grasp the basic. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to solve simple problem about derivatives and as time goes on you'll be able to solve types of integrals of elementary functions. I specialize in integration of elementary functions, typically use any calculus book and have the following tools available for your lessons:Internet, cd's,calculator, and videos, . I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!
About Alberto
My mission is to teach you the way you can understand this new knowledge and apply it

30min increments: For =< 60mins lesson, you have to come near to my place; I will come to your place at >= 90mins.
Calculus1/Calculus2: If you are taking this subject, you then have already taken some considerable mathematics; although, this time, the content becomes even more advanced and the notations even more arcane that you start wondering whether you ever really learned any math at all! Fear not--take heart! It is not as complicated as it seems once you get accustomed to its rules. Using practice exercises, I will then guide you how to solve more complicated problems using basic concepts.
(IMPORTANT: Please do NOT book any lessons without confirming with me if we have a match in schedule. I have other obligations besides tutoring so if you do not have a flexible schedule, I recommend other tutors that will match your budget and schedule.)

Sometimes calculus looks scary. It usually happens when things that we are doing are too abstract for us. I help by connecting calculus to real life and helping my students to understand why we are solving this problem this way and probably invent their own way to solve problems. It's not only helping to improve the grades but also helps with confidence.
About Marina
Hi, my name is Marina. I have a masters degree in Math and I'm from Russia. So, I could help you with both subjects:). I love to work with you on your goals and help you to achieve things that you set for yourself. I am also flexible with time and different types of math support.

While in college, I tutored students in various Math course ranging from Calculus to Linear Algebra. My students went on to get a deep understanding of the subject material and did very well in the classes I tutored them in. I believe for a student to learn, it takes effort on both the student's part and the teacher's. I take my time to fully understand what the student's weaknesses are and how to approach them while instilling confidence in the student.
About Michael

The AP Calculus exam is rumored to be one of the harder AP tests - especially for those of us who math doesn't come easily to. Even though it sounds daunting, with some determination and productive studying, …
