Fawn is a very fun, yet honest and straight-forward coach. She loves working with adults and children, and considers lessons a 'team effort to reach her students' goals. Being that music and the entertainment business are her career and life, she is current and relevant, yet has plenty of old school training to be well rounded and help students build a strong foundation. Music and the entertainment business are her life, and she loves helping people reach their goals and meet their dreams. She has released 5 albums, several singles, won numerous awards and worked with such talents as Grammy winners Lalah Hathaway and Paula Cole, Meredith Brooks, Vampire Diaries Kat Grahm, BT, Jeff Goldblum, Right Said Fred, Ed Townsend, QD3, Club Nuveau's Val Watson, Robbie Benson and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Carol Channing, Kevin Sorbo, Pink, Joss Stone, David Guetta, Katy Perry, Moby, Dionne Warwick, James Torme', David Foster, Thelma Houston, David Pomeranz, War and countless others. Over the years, Fawn has been known to bring students into her inner circle, so they can gain more experience and exposure, taking them to red carpets, events and even putting them up onstage to perform. She remembers having piano, voice and songwriting coaches, and being frustrated in voice because instructors were not addressing issues that needed to be addressed. This is why she creates a positive and comfortable, safe environment so students can open up and progress quickly. Fawn moves straight to the heart of the matter and gets whatever needs work figured out, so students can move on to what their goals and dreams are. She has helped actors be able to sing parts for their TV shows, helped popular bands be able to have good stage performances and presence with precision dancing and singing and has helped vocalists find their true voice. She is able to get piano students as young as 5 to a high-level Concerto level of playing with in 3 years, completely reading the pieces on their own. The youngest person she has ever taught was 3 years old and blind. The oldest person she has ever taught so far taught was 89 years old, after suffering a stroke. She has worked with special needs children with Downs Syndrome, ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pit Hopkins Disease and more. As far as being a songwriter, Fawn generally writes words and music at the same time but she has also written lyrics and music separately, as well as composed instrumental pieces. The reason people have "accents" is because they speak a foreign language using the grammatical and phoenetic rules of their native language. This is easily corrected and I am the one to show you how!
I know what it's like to be frustrated with boring exercises and processes that seem to take a lot of time but yield no results. That's why I decided to teach DIFFERENTLY!
I've invested a lot of time, energy, emotion and $$$ on big-name schools and "experts", only to be disappointed with what I was taught because a lot of the information or techniques they employed simply didn't apply to me or my goals.
Since 1997, I have perfected the K.I.S.S. methodology to improve sales, stage performance, professional advancement and overall quality of life. My effectiveness and willingness to guarantee my work sets me worlds apart from every other professional in my field. Furthermore,
At an early age, I was taught the importance of working "smart" and not "hard." Efficiency and effectiveness were the order of every day.
As the daughter of a Master Herbalist/musician (mother) and bodybuilder/ musician/ policeman (father), wellness, discipline and the stage have always been the way of life.
As a child, I was fascinated by my mother's stories of performing with members of Earth, Wind and Fire and other famous musicians and marveled at my father's accounts of being a friend and colleague of Sergio "The Myth" Oliva (3x Mr. Olympia). These experiences piqued a strong interest in stage performance and resulted in years of training in fine arts, fitness and linguistics. I was constantly reminded that the best performers in any field are "complete packages", meaning that they are well-rounded and adept in multiple facets of their chosen field.
To become a complete package, I studied classical piano and vocal performance at Sherwood Conservatory of Music and VanderCook College of Music; martial arts (Hapkido) at Hyun's; Fashion Design and Merchandise Management at International Academy of Design & Technology; herbal medicine at The School of Natural Healing; acting and musical improvisation at ETA Theatre and The Second City; flag, rifle and sabre twirling with South Shore Drill Team and runway/print modeling at Barbizon and The Fashion Connection. I have also studied tap, liturgical, ballet, modern, salsa, ballroom and street dance; speech therapy; actively study psychology, anatomy and nutrition and am a NESTA-certified wellness coach.

Our time together is very valuable. If you are not on time for your session, the missed portion will not be made up at the end of the session. Judy is a great teacher, very patient and thorough, her lessons were interesting and we had some excellent discussions on many topics which helped strengthen my conversational skills. I have recommended Judy to my friends and colleagues and will continue to do so.

Classes were always very productive, balancing theory and practice. She provided activities in groups, individual, games, videos, readings and discussions, homework assignments and even extra material for that student who wanted to go beyond.
She was very organized, every class had with her planning wrote down in a notebook and always shared with us what the class would be like. She had very interesting strategies, such as the daily way of teaching and resuming new vocabulary. Most of the time, in the next class she already had the activities or tests corrected, the recovery of our mistakes always asked if we had doubts.
He is a person who was always smiling and encouraging the students, even some who are tired of a full day's work.
And she has a differential that is helping students beyond the classroom, in my case, I shared my difficulty speaking in English and she became available for conversation classes in the summer holidays. Of course, that helped me a lot!
Finally, Tara was essential in my walk in learning a new language. She is fantastic!

Where do you want to
Here's your path:
1) You'll begin by taking an accent assessment, so I can listen to your speech/accent and determine what sounds are different than the sounds in American English and structure an individualized program for you.
2) We then work together for 13 weeks, for one hour sessions per week. All sessions will include practice work so that you can be well on your way to achieving an accent that is closer to American English.
3) Your practice work is all online for you - you'll have an online practice portal that you keep for the rest of your life to return back to and refresh as much as you'd like.
I am passionate about accent reduction because I want my clients to be able to succeed in the paths they choose in life, uncover their most promising futures, and discover what their lives can be.
I look forward to hearing from you!
