I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy and seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis. I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham. I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system. Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I str
ongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc.... The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

Jonathan is without a doubt a talented professional photographer / artist. Yet he has adapted himself to working with a novice trying to navigate a new digital camera before a big Patagonia vacation of a lifetime. Whether you are a beginner like I am or a professional photographer looking to improve your game, Jonathan will exceed your expectations. I like his patient and calm approach to my questions and after only two lessons I have already improved so much.

Jonathan is a really good instructor. He has helped me out a lot so far with the different software applications to do with photography. I’m still learning, but every lesson I get more invaluable information from him.

Miss Anna is a right teacher for me. She helped me a lot to expand vocabulary
and improve my conversation skills.

Anna was helping my 11 year old improve his verbal skills while we were on vacation for 5 weeks in NYC. Instead of sitting in a class room the lessons were spent at different places in the city and Anna prepared interesting themes for every lesson that let my son both practice speaking a lot as well as hear many interesting stories of NYC. In addition to being a great teacher Anna is also an excellent guide.

I enjoyed my first lesson with Anna. She is a very good teacher. She understood my goals and structured the class in the right format. I look forward to having fluent conversations in Russian by the end of these sessions.
I'm a professional website designer, internet marketer, photographer, and visual artist. I have a wide range of skills, talents, and interests from coding CSS and HTML, to manipulating photos, and making fine art paintings. Despite the medium, above all else, I am visual artist and designer.

I can't say enough about Monica. She is able to bring out the best in her students and allow them to express their talent . Her bright outlook and encouragement allowed me to grow as an artist. She is like an art mentor that will allow you to flourish.
Do you want to learn how to paint lifelike faces? Improve your proportions with the human figure? Master color with landscapes? Explore how to draw realistic values with still life? Whatever you would like to create, you can do it! I hope that you will sign up for a lesson with me so I will show you how!
I’ve been painting with oils for almost three decades, and drawing for as long as I can remember. I’ve been a full time fine artist for over a decade now. I’ve been doing guest demos and teaching private and group lessons for many years, for various subject matter and age groups.
After graduating from Tyler School of Art at Temple University with a major in Painting, I had jobs making signs by hand, doing T-shirt designs, in a graphic design studio with clients like M&M Mars, Claritin and Revlon. As a freelance artist, I did logos,
movie poster illustration, album art and packaging design. I even scored and created sound effects for some short films! Yes, I play keyboard as well.
For my fine art, I’ve worked in many different mediums including watercolor, acrylics, digital, ceramics, sculpture, metal casting and photography. But painting with oils and drawing are my most preferred ways of creating (drawing is the basis for painting). I’ve painted and drawn many different kinds of subjects, but the figure is my favorite. I have worked from photo reference and from life (something right in front of me) as well as from my imagination; the range of styles that I have used have gone from photorealism all the way to cartoons. I am proficient in Photoshop, which I currently use often to create composite images as reference for my paintings. My paintings have been displayed in many shows across the country, and have sold internationally.
I am an accomplished painter, illustrator, and graphic designer, specializing in figurative art. As an illustrator, some of my clients have been Perrier, Prentice-Hall publishing, United Airlines, Marlboro and Target.
I have a wide range of artistic interests and skills in both traditional and non-traditional media. I have been privileged to have been the art instructor for the Hoboken Homeless Shelter, and the Saturday U enrichment program for public school children at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken. My Hoboken Children's Memorial Flag can be seen on permanent display at Hoboken City Hall. It was the first public 9/11 memorial in Hoboken.
My Greetings from Hoboken New Jersey merchandise is available online and at the Hoboken Historical Museum and other retail outlets in Hoboken.
I keep my skills sharp by working
indoors from life, outdoors from nature, copying old master and Impressionist paintings at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I am featured in a recent book, Museum: Behind the Scenes at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, by Danny Danziger.
I’m a working mom of 5, i own my own salon and love all things beauty, photography and yoga and positivity! I am high energy but also like to be very relatable and helpful. I stay busy creating and making People gorgeous.

"Great teacher! She was very patient with me and with every lesson, I saw myself improving. I only participated in group classes before and having a teache
r tailor each lesson to my level made such a huge difference. She really knows how to break down complicated things to make them easier to draw."
"Great lesson! He’s very accommodating of senior citizens!"
"The first lesson went very well with my daughter. Belinda was methodical in her teaching and approached the lesson with my daughter’s interest in mind. D
uring the lesson, Belinda was able to actively engage my daughter the whole time, and more importantly, her teaching revived my daughter’s interest in drawing. She has already devised future plans to have my daughter practice sketching noses, eyes, and ears so that my daughter may draw the human face later with more realistic details."
