We will work on barre exercises and center combinations.

My class focuses on the use and understanding of movement execution as well as ballet vocabulary. The class will start with a ballet barre, then move to center work, and across the floor. Younger students will be taught with the effective use of imagery for movement and older students will focus on the anatomy of the body. Students will be expected to bring a journal to each lesson to note vocabulary and movement combinations and review outside of lessons.

Basic beginning/ intermediate body positive ballet class! Always wanted to learn? Now is your chance. In this beginning or intermediate ballet class we will work on positions, alignment, stretching, combinations. Everyone can dance ballet!

Want to start your journey as a dancer? Want to pass exams to enter the ballet school? Want your body to feel good and fit? I wiil help you to strengthen the muscles of the back and the whole body, to increase your flexibility. I will teach you the main points in classical dance, considering your interests and tasks. I am experienced teacher of 4 years, speciallizing in the begginner/intermidiate dance student! All ages welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. I've been teaching ballet for over twenty years. My ballet teacher was a Bolshi alumnai. He and his dad both danced for the Bolshi before they came to America. I teach a combination of Vaganova and my own updated style to keep my students interested in the style. I use classical music and pop to help students gain a love and appreciation for the style.
