In our lessons, beginning students will learn to read music, play their favorite pieces, how to do warm ups and learn basic skills. I use sheet music and introductory books in my classes and assign homework for their daily practice. After 3 months, each student will move to the next level and continue learning more advanced skills. More advanced students will learn how to understand and compose music, put expression into the pieces they play and improve their current skills.

About lena
I have been playing piano since I was a young child and have always had a passion for music. I apprenticed in China under a master piano teacher for 15 years and then immediately started performing in many different venues. 18 years ago, I started teaching piano and have enjoyed sharing my love of music with others. I am very patient with students and am very open to the type of music they would like to play. From pop music to classical, beginning to advanced, I am well versed. If there is a specific piece you want to play, I can fit it to your level. In my lessons, I try to make each experience meaningful and joyful.
I am also available giving personalized lessons online nationwide. Looking forward to meeting you and sharing the joy of music in person and online.

Moreover, the basic performance skills are also occupied very heavily in each lesson, such as scales, triads in single notes and octaves, in slower speed and gradually into faster speed, and of course, different levels of etudes to build a strong base for each student to achieve his/her beautiful performance.

As someone new to music in general, Lena focused our lessons on the fundamentals of reading music and Hanon exercises to attain dexterity. She is a very patient instructor who works with you to fix errors step by step and was more than willing to answer the many questions I constantly threw at her. I have learned quite a lot in the short time I have been working with her and I would recommend her to fellow beginners.

Beginning piano for ages 3 to adult.

About Arielle-Khrystiana
I began my musical studies at the age of six, starting off in my elementary school orchestra and chorus. A passion and talent for the violin led me to placing in competitions and festivals, and performing professionally in quartets and at wedding ceremonies later in high school. I began performing in rock 'n' roll bands in 2008, and began a teaching career in 2009. My students and students' parents have praised me for my musicianship, patience, and compassion. I am also an operatic soprano and musical theater musician, thus making me a diverse and well-rounded instructor. I teach in the traditional style, combining some Suzuki elements. For beginning voice lessons, we will focus on vocalizes, theory, and appropriate repertoire. I take a different approach to every student, realizing that not everyone learns the same, and that what may wo
rk for one student will not work for another. I am dedicated to assisting the musicians of the future. I firmly believe that being performer assists me in my teaching, because I can give my students the benefit of my performance knowledge and experience, preparing them not only for school concerts and NYSSMA festivals, but also other arenas, such as performing with rock musicians or in theater pits to earn extra cash after high school. I enjoy working with all ages, 3-83. I'm excited to meet you and assist you with the adventure that is learning classical violin! My students have also been recipients of several scholarships and awards.

*** Lesson Details ***

I've been teaching music and piano performance for over 20 years and my students have gone on to win international competitions and be major in piano performance at college and Universities. I have recording experience with very young children and adults. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to play professionally and record your pieces and as time goes on you'll be able to build up your own digital repertoire. I specialize in piano performance and music Theory/musicology, typically use the Suzuki Method for very young beginners and Musilanguage books. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About Antonella

I am a pianist and a music theorist, I am a dedicated and successful teacher. I hold degrees from Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Italy, Accademia Puccininana, I have a Master in piano performance and am working through my PhD in Music Theory. As you can see, I love to learn.
My lessons will take you where you are and bring you a step further. I'll explain you in detail how to reach your goals faster.
Sometimes you'll need to work on your own way to learn, on yourself. I'll be always there to help you!
Why you should have lesson with me?
Simply because I am among the best teachers in the world and I love the idea to reach more students through this medium. And you'll have fun for su

Antonella is an AMAZING teacher. I am an older adult student, with no music theory or background. She is very patient, accommodating, and uses very useful analogies that help me visualize what to do in a way that helps me learn and remember. My own weakness is in making time to diligently practice. I look forward to each lesson, and give her my highest recommendation.

Our experience with Antonella has been wonderful. She has high standards but is also extremely patient with young students. My daughter has learned beautiful technique but more importantly, she has expanded her mind, improved her sense of discipline and commitment and learned to play piano with a feel for the music. Working with Antonella is fantastic for the student and their parent/guardian. It's a joint effort. I highly recommend Antonella

Antonella taught me (female age 35) and my son (age 11) piano for about 1-2 years. She was patient with us and very flexible with our busy schedule. The only reason I could not give her 5 stars is she is the only teacher we ever had and therefore unable to compare. I would highly recommend her to family/friends.

I've been teaching professionally for 15+ years. I've been playing since the age of 4 and playing professionally for 25 years. I serve as staff accompanist at the church where my husband and I serve as Worship Leaders. I teach sight reading and music theory. I do not teach to play by ear. I teach the fundamentals of music; the artistry. Music is a language all it's own. Music speaks when our words fail.

About Faithe
I'm a professional instrumentalist who plays the piano, keyboards and, most recently, the organ! Music is my passion! I've played piano since the age of 4. My husband and I are Worship Leaders at a baptist church in Star, MS. We've been married for 18 years and have 3 beautiful daughters.
I've been teaching piano since the age of 21, almost 25 years. I teach piano to students of all different ages and experience levels. I grew up playing southern gospel, but studied classical in college. I can teach students to read music and pursue piano excellence, to learn how to play contemporary music using chord sheets, or both depending on the goals and preference of the student.
I teach from a variety of curricula. Alfred's is probably the one I use the most, especially for adults. I also teach from John Thompson who seems to use more of a class
ical approach. But I also throw in other genres.
I cater each lesson tonthe students wants and likes goals. We always have a great time in our lessons.

As a recent college graduate with a degree in music education with three years of teaching experience, I specialize in beginner, intermediate, and advanced piano lessons and beginner and intermediate voice lessons. Each student will experience lessons tailored for their individual goals, such as playing songs, learning music theory and history, ear training, reading notes, and more! If you are interested in lessons, or have any questions for me, feel free to make contact!

About Sarah
My name is Sarah, and I have been teaching private lessons in voice and piano for three years. I have recently received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Houghton College, with a concentration in voice. Having been involved in over a dozen musical theater and operatic productions, I have had experience teaching and coaching students in both classical and contemporary vocal technique as well as teaching and accompanying on piano.

Voice students will not only learn basic vocal technique, vocal care, music theory and ear training, but also how to confidently portray emotion when singing and how to get rid of tension. I teach my voice students how to unlock and feel comfortable and confident with their own unique, individual voice. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student's goals and musical identity.

Piano students
will learn the basics, as well as advanced techniques depending on the level, of playing piano. Having studied classical piano for 16 years, and contemporary for 4 years, I can teach classical techniques and music theory as well as contemporary techniques, and reading music using chord sheets.

Lessons take place in my music classroom at a local school in Tonawanda, NY. Parents of students are more than welcome to sit and listen to their child's lessons!

I have played and studied piano since the age of 3 both at the Milan conservatory and at Pacific Lutheran University. I am primarily a jazz player, but have studied and continue to play classical music as well (as it is a necessity!). The important thing here is to make sure you continue to love music and learn how to play piano!

About marc
Hi guys!

I am both an English and music teacher who lives in America at the moment. I both work as an English teacher for refugees near Seattle as well as play as a professional musician. I have been teaching for about 5 years both in America and in Europe. My most recent teaching abroad was in Italy, where I taught Italian and English to refugees in Milan. This has allowed me to teach to people from over 50 countries and from all sorts of age groups!

I am a native-English speaker so I can help you with cultural aspects of the language as well as the basics of grammar and pronunciation. I have a TEFL certificate as well as well as a C1 language proficiency in Spanish, Italian, and German if those languages interest you as well! I have also been a professional musician since I was 14. I play bass, piano, and drums, and can teach all
of these instruments as well as music theory!

I mainly want you guys to succeed and have fun learning so I try to have a fun learning environment, and I am very open to talk and teach nearly any subject that y'all are interested in!

My playing improved tremendously under his instruction. I would HIGHLY recommend him to students of any age!

I teach music from the perspective of a modern musician and a songwriter. I want to make sure you are relaxed and having fun, as well as learning everything you want to learn in these lessons! We will get you playing songs you enjoy, right from the start. The most important thing to me, is for my students to have fun during their lessons, because real learning comes from commitment, and commitment comes much easier when you enjoy what you do.

About Loralee
Loralee began exploring music at a very young age, as part of a musical household. She enrolled in flute lessons at the age of 4, giving her solid roots in music theory and an appreciation for classical music. Her flute lessons later led her to take part in marching band and numerous musical ensembles. Aside from her love of music, 15 years of performing and studying dance led her to discover her joy in teaching when she began to teach creative movement and ballet to young dancers. In college, she began learning guitar and writing music to match a growing passion for songwriting and acoustic folk music. Her musical pursuits led her to join a local alt pop/punk band as a vocalist, and she performed with them in the surrounding area. After graduating with a B.A. at Michigan State University, Loralee began to pursue a career as a solo musici
an, and released a 4 song EP “If You Were a Song”. Now, she has written hundreds of songs and performs her original music in the San Francisco area.
