I began my interest on the violin at a young age, starting at six within my elementary school. As I grew older, I became enamored with the sound and craft of the instrument, putting my knowledge into it deeply as I wished to pursue it with reverent passion. I understand the difficulties and challenges facing those wishing to pursue the violin, from money to teaching accessibility. I've seen many a great talent give up due to this. I make learning flexible but fun; engaging but technical and most of all, understanding and tailored for the individual needs of the student. I specialize in string instrumentation and have a degree in music education, working towards my master's to give the gift of music to all, especially the realm of string instruments.

Ashley was very helpful to me. I was floundering. I am a brand new 'musician', still learning to read music. I would still be working with her, but I had to move suddenly. She was very encouraging and I hope to be able to continue lessons again with someone in my new location.

my grand daughters 1st lesson was great,,ashley took time to tune violin, explained the the whole instrument and how to properly take care of instrument can not wait for my grand daughters next lesson

Darrell helped me a lot to get a handle on my Ableton rig. I needed to set up midi tracks, locate presets to create cool sounds from plugins. Then I needed to export the audio of a couple of those tracks to import into a separate Pro Tools project. Lot of progress, thanks Darrell! -- Frank S
