I've been a professional singer and actress for over twelve years, performing on Broadway in Lincoln Center's Tony-winning Revival of "South Pacific" and touring the county with Rob McClure and Anika Larson in the First National Tour of "Avenue Q." I have an MFA in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design, graduated summa cum laude, and was the only female recipient of the Presidential Scholarship for Vocal Performance. My BA is in Arts and Education from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

As an actor who sings I think it's important to connect with the text and let the vocal technique support those choices for the most compelling performance. My passion is creating audition cuts and crafting them into bite-sized yet complete scenes. Audition technique is key if you want to be in shows because someone has to cast you first. Over 95% of ...
My approach is both supportive and pragmatic, based on where each individual's skill set is right now and what your specific goals are. I've had the benefit of both formal instruction as well as a decade in the "school of hard knocks." Climbing up the ladder to earn my Equity Card on a Production C

I have been playing for 14 years, but am young enough to remember (and still feel!) the struggles of practicing and playing the flute. In addition, having taken 7 years of Music Theory and Ear Training at music conservatories, I can provide a great way for beginners to learn to read music as well as to hear it.
As a Suzuki teacher trained with the SAA, I have studied effective teaching methods that work for students of all ages and levels.
I will incorporate these aspects into your lessons:
