I am a classically trainer realist oil painter with an MFA and years of experience. I have taught at several ateliers in NYC and internationally through the State Department’s Art In The Embassies programs. I break down the painting techniques of the Old Masters into easy to follow steps and cater the lessons to what the individual student is interested in pursuing. Also— I’m fun! Come paint with me!

About Eileen

Hello! I moved to Brooklyn fifteen years ago to get my MFA at Pratt Institute; I've been a professional fine artist for my entire adult life and have shown my work extensively in and around New York. I know noting about drawing and just after the first lesson I feel like I have some some sense of how to look at objects and try to draw them

Eileen is an amazing tutor and she had been very professional and thoughtful even before the course was conducted by discussing the right material to use during the class. Her presentation is very detailed and easy to follow, she is very patient as well which made us very comfortable during the session. Definitely recommend!

Did you ever want to learn art from a professional? what about someone who's worked at pixar? an animation studio? freelanced? i did it all.

As an illustrator it's my job to figure out multiple concepts for one idea. As a teacher, i like to believe that there's more than one day of doing something. With my one on one lesson plan and schedule, i cater everything to my student's specific needs. Most teachers do things strictly out of the book but then you don't share your wisdom, personal experience or technique that's involved. i stepped out of the illustration industry to continue a life of teaching. i want share my knowledge with the future generation of artists and help them grow to understand why they love to do art.

About Tony

Would you want to learn art by the book or, would you want to learn from someone who has experience being where you are to being a professional making it his life goal? I'm here to share my personal experience and knowledge with you as an artist. i started going to art high school, college and the

Hello fellow students!

My name is Anabel, I am a professional photographer in Los Angeles, California. I photograph a variety of subjects, from pets to Grammy-nominated musicians, and everything in-between! I am well versed in studio photography and on-location outdoor work, and can help you learn to make the most of any location and subject matter.

Being self-taught, I believe that I have an entirely different approach to education; one that sits well with aspiring photographers, especially those that are disappointed in traditional (as in, college and university) photographic education. My teaching philosophy revolves around educating on the minimum and maximum capabilities of your gear and giving students all of the fundamental tools to create whatever image they have in their head (hence my lack of a photographic ‘niche’ in my work. When your camera becomes an extension of your arm, your subject pool is limitless).

In 2015, I had officially made my photography classes ...

"HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Ken is extremely talented in perceiving every student’s individual needs. When he gives feedback, it is not formulaic but actually tailored to the work I have done and the improvements I have made. This means that with each exercise completed, I am still learning new things about myself and my drawing instead of just repeating a technique brainlessly. These drawing classes have left a lasting mark on my art practice!"
