My name is Myung, and I am a native Korean speaker. I graduated from Ewha Women's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Literature.
I obtained a master’s degree in TESOL and Linguistics at West Virginia University in 2020. I have teaching experience in English, Korean, and Chinese between ages 5 to 15, as well as adults including college students. While my degree is in linguistics, I am a Tamarack artist, and I am a juried member in the West Virginia Watercolor Society (WVWS).
From personal experience as a nonnative speaker, I understand why students have difficulties in learning English or Korean, and I know how to teach language in a fun and effective way, so that language-learning can be a pleasant experience for students. Also, as a parent, I know how important it is to teach with compassion, I try to be a patient, warm, and passionate motivator for students. I ...
