Fun and easy to understand. Photography is very hands on and I myself learn by doing. I will not bore you with a bunch of textbook info or history lessons, you can learn that on your own. We will focus on what your interests are and create fun assignments and images based on that.
I believe a good student/teacher relationship is one where they learn from each other.

Mrs. Jacqueline has high expectations for my son and he made a lot of progress in his pre-reading skills. She motivated my son to learn and as a result he was engage and eager to learn how to read.
Mrs. Jacqueline develop a good relation with my son and with me. She was always willing to send me updates on how my son was doing and giving me tips on how to help him at home. Engaging one-on-one tutoring that doesn't waste any time getting into the content that will improve your photos. I use visuals aids (and a whole lotta hand talk, lol) to help make these lessons comfortable and easy to understand. Together we go over the foundation of each of the lesson concepts then discuss how to start applying those concepts for results today.
If you'd like to show me your work and discuss something specific that you're struggling with (blurry images, weird colors, crooked lines, etc ), be prepared to show me the "raw" (unedited) version of your picture and what your camera settings were.
Can't wait to meet you :)

Many people think they can't draw. I used to be one of them. Now, I know that everyone can draw, they just need to learn how to translate what they see into an image. We will start with contour, move into gesture, create the illusion of 3D form using value and color, composition and even create the illusion of space. We will use a variety of media including graphite, charcoal, pastels (oil and chalk) and even use paint. It's really lots of fun!
Hello! My name is John and I can teach you to draw and paint. I am high energy, funnier than all get out, yet have a serious love of art. Let's explore not just the technical side of drawing/painting, but let's help you discover how to express your creative self!

My approach to teaching Drawing is a non-traditional, non-textbook way to drawing lessons. I will nurture the inner artist in you while having fun with it. I know that it can be intimidating at first, but drawing is supposed to be fun! I'll show you how. :)
Or If you feel the need to something more than just the basics, I will instruct you to further your technique and skill in drawing, free you from the creative blocks you may have, and help unleash that inner draftsman!
