About Laura

Hello! I am a NYC-based singer, pianist, actress, and animal-lover. Born and raised in Los Angeles, my artistic career began as a classical pianist, performing in venues across California, Japan, and Austria from a very young age. As a singer, I performed around the world with the Broadway tour of

Laura was wonderful with my 5 year old girl, she was patient, energetic and her love for music showed through! My daughter has been very motivated to practice her songs to show "Ms Laura" next week. We look forward to working much more with Laura.

Amazing! Talented vocalist and pianist that communicates very well. Has great advice and wonderful personality. Great with kids.

I met Laura at Harvard University when we were both doing our MFA degrees in acting. Since our program was not a Musical Theater one and I was not a singer, I started to take private lessons with her to compliment some of the training in singing we were getting there.

Laura is a fantastic singer and actor. She has an incredible ear as well as great knowledge and experience of what makes a singing performance pop. All this makes her an outstanding coach.

Even now after graduation, I am still training with her. Our focus now is on continuing the development of my singing voice. My goal is to reach a level where I have the skill and confidence to audition professionally for musicals, and I know I am in great hands.

I am a retired professor. It is always my dream to be able to sing some day, but I was intimidated by the technical requirements involved in singing until I met Linda. She is a wonderful singing coach, knowledgeable, honest, patient, and inspiring at the same time. Not only she has amazing voice, but also has very good ear and can immediately tell whenever one is off tune or not. Linda combines rigorous demand for perfection with warm encouragement and repeated demonstration of how to improve. I am blessed that I had her as my coach. After having just taken a course on bel canto offered by her recently, I feel that I really have learnt enormously about breathing, resonance, vibration, Italian pronunciation, and several beautiful songs, among others. I most strongly recommend Linda without any reservation to any one who is thinking to learn how to sing.
Amanda
I have learned so much from Ms. Linda about vibrato and breath support, along with singing with healthy technique. She has also helped me achieve a mixed sound. She is a one of a kind teacher and worth every penny!

Mr. G goes over and above to help me pursue my interests. He helped me sing through a difficult time while my voice was changing. He supports me at performances and never fails to make me laugh. Working with him has been a fantastic experience and I feel that I have grown so much.

I got in touch with Daniel so I could get back in singing shape as an adult who had lapsed - a lot! He's friendly, kind, and patient, with a clear way of explaining technique that's really helped me get it. I've improved noticeably in a short amount of time!

Hi there! I am a Northwest Native Singer cross genre singer, songwriter and composer. I started singing at the age of 6 in various local programs and choirs. Since then, I have studied music at LCC in Eugene Oregon, and gone on to release my debut full length album, an acoustic EP, and a pop/rock single I wrote for my dad and my Nephew. My most recent work is a genre fusion opera entitled Intergalacticas.

Coming from a family of musicians, with a grandfather who played the stand up bass and majored in music as a Jazz musician at the University of Oregon, a grandmother who was first violin in her own string quartet, who met my grandfather at the UofO as a classical music major, a mother who sang in the Seattle Opera, and an Uncle Tim, who topped the billboard charts as a folk artist and went on to have 9 albums on Columbia records, my love of all genres was implanted in me at a very young age.

You can find my recent compositions on ITunes, and Spotify. Please visit my website ...

"I've had a great experience working with Samuel. He took time to understand my musical and personal goals, and then struck a great balance of finding my comfort zone and pushing me forward. He's an experienced performer that has a great knowledge of repertoire for all voices, too. I would highly recommend lessons with him!"

"Roberta is amazing! I went to her for a little more than 3 years for voice (and piano for a little bit) and she is very helpful, skilled, friendly, knowledgable, and fun. She helped me get into my top choice college as a choral music major with a full tuition scholarship and supported me the entire way. Roberta knows how to work with any voice with any level of experience of any age. Not only is Robera a fantastic teacher; she is also very understanding and a great person to talk to. I would highly recommend her to any student in the area."

"My parents forced me to start singing lessons. I thought I would thoroughly hate it, but it was very easy to learn from George. I could tell he has been teaching students for ages by the way he helped me fix my head voice singing. His English isn't the best, but most of the teaching was through sound and tone, so it didn't make an impact on the learning experience."

"Adam is a great teacher. This was my first time taking voice lessons (adult beginner) and I wasn't sure what to expect. But Adam's ear is sharp as hell. HE doesn't miss anything and doesn't let me off the hook when I lose focus or miss a note. Anytime I feel like I messed up but don't think he caught it, he always catches it!

Which tells me he's legit. Highly recommended."
