I got my start in the 80s at Stand Up NY comedy club. Throughout my life as a serious concert pianist, musician, writer and educator, comedy has been a shelter and a lifesaver. I met Woody Allen for conversation and some comparative opinions on his work, our favorite book stores, etc and it sparked a further desire to do some acting in film, writing and improvisation. As an improvisor in my own field of music, improvisation always came naturally to me.
I learned how to deal with stage fright from my professional family of musicians and some of the greatest teachers/performers of the world with whom I studied at Juilliard. Yes, the same place that saw Robin Williams and Kline and others do their thing. I hung out with actors on the third floor when I was not rehearsing music on the 5th. Made friends. Lived in LA. Wrote music and acted for films. Got published. Started a comedy concert tour aboard the historic Delta Queen steamboat line in New Orleans all the way to ...

He created a welcoming environment in our online lessons that made it easy to be vulnerable and get right to working on new skills.
I highly recommend for others looking to better understand their voice and communication style, and learn to hone them.
Joseph’s technical ‘short cuts’ are amazing! He illustrates ways for your hands and your mind to work that are tailor made for you. Learning from him is so fun it seems almost effortless.
The way Joseph teaches allows you to develop at your own pace. The atmosphere is always relaxed yet everything moves along quickly.
At the open classes I attend, his other students are progressing very rapidly too. After each class, we share our impressions. The mood is elated because it feels like we stepped back in time and into history.
Joseph often quotes inspired wisdom of his historic teachers in our lessons. He is a great inspiration on his own with great musical insights.
I’m playing Beethoven and Chopin works I never thought I could approach at this stage of study, with great depth of understanding. I now play with greater passion and skill, get compliments from everyone I play for, and no longer worry about playing in public.
I look forward to each and every lesson with Joseph. His encouragement and support makes learning so rewarding! Anyone who finds this musical treasure is a lucky person and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Not everyone wants to learn how to sing, speaking and voice projection are valuable tools for actors, television personalities, lecturers, and professors. Speaking is a lot like singing and I use some of the same exercises to help teach proper support to avoid vocal damage and tiring the voice.
I graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA with a BA in Music Education, voice principal. During my years in public schools I taught a variety of age ranges and subjects including kindergarten general music, beginning band, high school chorus, and remedial middle sch

Whether it's for film or TV, being able to write a detailed script is incredibly important, both for the actors and the people behind the scenes. I've written for short films and am currently working on shows for television. We will use programs such as Final Draft to understand the format of screenwriting as well as developing skills to create memorable characters and relatable stories.
I love to create. The way I'm most comfortable creating is through writing; whether it's a song, a short story, a poem or a script. Writing has always been the bass line in my life; the heartbeat. Music and film are both passions of mine. I graduated from Berklee College of Music where I studied

I am here to make dancing enjoyable, fun, exciting, comfortable...... I can go on and on, but my goal for all of my students is to gain the confidence that is lacking. Any one can be a dancer and that's what I believe. I understand the awkwardness feeling as a new dancer and it is not fun starting off, but what made me get passed that stage of awkwardness was the amazing teacher that seen potential and helped me take my dancing to the roof. Now, as a dance instructor I thrive and seek to give that same motivation to my students. I don't mind explaining something multiple times or in a different way to make sure you understand it. Trust me, you won't have to deal with an impatient instructor like most would have to. You want to be that awesome dancer? Lets make it happen then!!!!
I am a professional ballroom instructor as well as a dance choreographer. Dancing has been apart of my life since I was a child. I've been teaching for over 3 years now and I enjoy every minute of it. I became a dance instructor because I want to give the art and passion that I have for dance to ot

Swing dance goes by many names Swing belongs to the jazz school of dance, but the term doesn't apply to one single technique.
