A little about myself. I was enrolled in a top mathematical high school and won multiple mathematical olympiads starting at a young age. I graduated from university with honors and the highest departmental distinction. While at the university I served as a teaching assistant and tutored other students. With my quadrilingual ability, I created “La Méthode” or in English, The Method, a tutoring style combining the best of the American and the French approachs to learning so that students can learn from world-renowned theories at the same time as they discover more practical examples to delve into.

Hello, my name is Alec! I am an expert in all sections of the ACT: English, Math, Reading, and Science. I am an enthusiastic, kind, encouraging, and patient tutor. I have almost 3 years of teaching experience as a private tutor and at 2 different colleges (The University of Colorado Boulder and Colorado Mountain College in Edwards). I scored a 36 on the ACT, including a 36 on all 4 main sections. I deeply understand the material on all sections of the ACT. Apart from the material on the test, I understand the best testing strategies and mindsets needed to ace the test. This knowledge has come from my experience working with students of all backgrounds, the 4 books I have read on how to beat the ACT, and my own experience taking the ACT. I have helped numerous students increase their scores by 7-12 points.
