Veronica was great, she came prepared with worksheets and fun little tricks for young learners to remember the notes on a keyboard. My son loved his lesson, he's looking forward to lesson #2.

We love Ms Veronica. The kids love Ms Veronica. She makes it fun. She picks songs the kids know and love to play and uses that to engage them. It's not boring and the kids look forward to their classes each week.

So far, I have had only one lesson with Dr. M., the only singing lesson I've had in my entire 66 years of a lifetime. My only regret, is that I did not take them sooner. Dr M. is patient, an expert, and motivational. What more could you ask for when working with a teacher. He thinks he can make a singer out of me; I'll have to trust his judgement. It would be awesome, if he achieves our goal.

Very passionate about piano and able to convey ideas.. also very good at feeling out what student is seeking to achieve. Definitely recommend Paul if you are wanting to take playing piano as a serious endeavor
Arthur
My experience with this teacher was horrible. Paul has no patience for a child that might not pay attention as much as necessary. He has forgotten what it is to be a child or how to win over a child and make a lesson fun.
My child had one previous lesson with Paul. It is true that she was not following his directions and his frustration was quite obvious.
On my second visit I was appalled by Paul’s behavior. Again my child wouldn’t sit down on the bench correctly. Verbatim this what occurred next, I quote: “This is not going to work out. Get out of my house NOW, NOW!(Screaming, like I was going to prolong this). I have better things to do than waste my time with your daughter. I don’t want to take your money.

It is true that my daughter can be difficult when approached in an authoritarian manner. However, my daughter is not yet six and Paul brought my daughter to tears. Surely this behavior was at best inappropriate and says more about the person Paul is than about my daughter. A simple “ May I have word with you in private” would be a mature way to part company. Not throwing a 6 year out of your house because you are frustrated. I was horribly offended by his manner and attitude. No way to treat a 6 year old.

This man has no patience with young kids. I would stay away from this teacher unless your child has some experience with piano. Definitely not child friendly.
Normally I do not post reviews unless something extraordinary happens This is one of those: extraordinarily bad.
An apology is in order if this poor excuse for a “teacher” has any understanding of the unnecessary hurt he has caused.
Nancy

I studied organ in college and have played organ in churches for almost forty years. You at least be at the intermediate level in piano before you are ready for organ lessons. You will learn technique for manuals and pedals. You don't have to aspire to play in public if you have access to an organ in your home or elsewhere where you can just play for your own enjoyment.

About Miriam

I have taught private piano lessons to all ages and levels for more than forty years. I prefer to teach in my home and in certain situations I teach in students' homes. If I teach in a student's home, there must be a piano or keyboard on the first floor of the home. For lessons in your home, you

"Mark is a treasure. After our daughter’s very first organ lesson, she adopted better practice techniques and keener musical interpretation skills. Mark is witty, kind, personable, generous, and of course talented. He is a role model both as a musician and as a person. A. also started taking voice lessons with Mark, and her growth both as a singer and as an organist has been exponential as a result. We count ourselves fortunate to know Mark, and we are grateful that he is our daughter’s teacher."

3 Reasons Why Piano Players Should Also Learn the Organ

There are many reasons why a music student may find themselves learning to play piano on a keyboard rather than on a baby grand: cost, space, or simply lack of access, for example. Versatility on a range of keyboard instruments is also an extremely useful string for any pianist to have to their bow, and can lead to greater practice and public performance opportunities, and even excellent opportunities to earn a little money on the side. The organ, although not the most prevalent or popular musi …
