I've used Logic Pro X from the day it came out and started teaching it two years ago. I've produced records that have made it to Power 105.1, New York's biggest Urban radio station and CBC, Canada's biggest radio station on Logic. I'm able to teach beginners how to get started making beats on Logic and more advanced studios how to finish radio ready records on it.

I would definitely recommend working with Alvin. As a producer, he always keeps an eye on trends, he listens a lot of new music and he is very sensitive to elements. He tries to incorporate in his tracks the best findings and he is open to experiment.
As a songwriter, Alvin has a very clear understanding of commercial sound and knows what consist a catchy lyrics. He thoroughly selects the best words and phrases for the songs to bring the best to the audience.
Alvin is very passionate about what he’s doing and ambitious. Very nice person, easy to talk to, easy to do deal with.

Alvin is a great producer and collaborator to work with! I have been working with Alvin the past few months, and it has been a great experience! He is dedicated to making quality music, and really understand the needs of a songwriter and vocalist from the role of a producer and arranger. He takes the time and care with his clients to deliver results in a timely manner, and I look forward to creating more great songs with him in the future!

My 9 yr. old daughter received singing lessons with Rachel. Rachel was SO wonderful, patient, and creative with every session with her. She was constantly coming up with different ways to keep her engaged and was always reassuring her to increase her confidence. She gave great constructive feedback on how my daughter was doing and what she can work on to improve. I give her 5 stars! Thanks so much, Rachel!

Overall, very impressed. She is direct and doesn't tell you something you want to hear. Her evaluation process is well rounded and planned. She puts together a great curriculum to know what to expect in the coming lessons. Very easy going person and makes you feel completely comfortable at the initial lessons.

Our Bass Guitar lessons are geared for the beginner to intermediate student. We introduce tablature as well as reading music in bass clef. Beginner students start out with a flat pick then tend to move up to fingerstyle techniques.

Music composition is my passion. I've been composing music since I was 9 years old. I saw the first Harry Potter film and heard John Williams' score and decided I wanted to do that too. I started writing original music on piano, and subsequently got a Bachelor's and Master's degree in music composition. I have studied music theory since I started piano lessons at age 5. I love music theory! If a student isn't excited about theory, we don't have to have intensive theory lessons. I do believe basic theory is important to composing, but if a student doesn't take to theory, that doesn't mean they can't still write absolutely amazing music. I want students to write music that they want to write. I can help them take the music in their heads and turn it into a reality!

About Connor

I'm a film composer by trade, but I love teaching as well. I love sharing my passion for music with others. I have a BM from Appalachian State University in piano performance and music theory/composition. I also have an MFA in music composition for the screen from Columbia College Chicago. I st

"David is a highly skilled multi-instrumentalist and producer. I was introduced when he recorded an EP for my band and since then, we've spent many an evening talking about performing, recording, teaching and making music. He is kind, patient and extremely knowledgable about his craft. I always learn something new, interesting and immediately applicable to my playing when I work with him. I've had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of his students and they have always been exceptionally professional and prepared. I highly recommend David for lessons in whatever discipline you request - the crossover knowledge from all of his experiences will be invaluable to you."

The Loog Guitar Revolution: Guitar Lessons for Kids Will Never be the Same

As a music educator and performer, I’m always interested in learning about new products and tools that can help students succeed.  When I discovered the Loog Guitar, a 3-string interchangeable guitar designed with children in mind, I immediately took notice. I was excited to find out more about the Loog because I took guitar lessons when I was 8 years old, and it proved to be easier said than done. The guitar was added to the list of instruments that were uncomfortable for my tiny hands (w …
