Develop your singing voice through an understanding of the basics of vocal control, breath support, quality tone production, bridging your vocal registers with ease and having fun while doing it all.

About Barry
I have almost 30 years of experience teaching voice, working with choral groups, voice students as well as classroom music instruction. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Music Education as well as a Masters degree in music from an accredited school of music and have been performing both as a soloist and in vocal performance groups since I was a teenager. I bring to the vocal/music studio all of this experience as well as a heart to pass along this experience to others that desire to share the song that is in their heart. If it is your desire to sing, play the keyboard or guitar, please get in touch with me!

*** Lesson Details ***
When a student gets started with me , wherever their interest lies, I work to discover where they are on their musical journey, discuss some goals they would like to set for themselves and put a teaching and le
arning plan into motion.

For vocalists my primary goal is to assist anyone who is looking to improve the tonal quality and strength of their singing or speaking voice while reducing vocal tension and voice fatigue.

I facilitate singers of any level, age or style who seek to improve breath support, diction, range, tone quality, and ease of singing. This is achieved through a variety of singing exercises, fun vocal drills and creative singing games that we do in lesson time and with instruction on what to do at home.

For individuals seeking to develop basic musical understandings in theory, keyboard skills and guitar, I endeavor to start with were they are and take them to where they desire to be as a musician; opening up doors of music understanding and performance skills that help them on their musical journey.

I've been training singers of all ages for over 30 years. My major areas of expertise vocal styling, inflections, singing with power, proper mouth position etc.

About Cyndi
Cyndi has been very successful as a singer/songwriter, artist developer, producer and teacher. Originally hailing from Dayton, Ohio, she has resided in Los Angeles for many years. She has performed all over the United States and the world as an artist singing on cruise lines such as The Royal Carribean, Carnival, NCL etc., and has shared the stage with The Jackson's, Barbara Striesand, Stevie Wonder, CeCe Winans and many others.

As a teacher, Cyndi has taught "Vocal Technique" to students of all ages ranging from 5-70 for the past 25 years. She was Youth and Young Adult Music Director for Crenshaw Christian Center, one of the largest mega churches in America, as well as A&R for their record label. As a songwriter/producer/artist developer on staff for 12 years, she produced numerous CD projects. Her song, "The Power of Faith," that s
he wrote for the Ever Increasing Faith broadcast can be heard all over the world daily on both television and radio. Because of her meticulous instruction, many of her students have gone on to obtain professional careers in the entertainment and music industry. Keisha Renee is current back up singer and opener for the amazing R & B singer, JoJo. Keisha has also sang backups on the P Diddy 2016 Bad Boy reunion tour, she's also a member of Team Minaj as Nicki Minaj's main back up singer as well as numberous others. Julia Michaels, is currently one of America's leading songwriter/vocalist having sold 50 million copies of her songs worldwide and her newest single "Issues" has topped the Billboard chart. Julia was also the first American to ever sing for the closing ceremonies of the 2016 Olympics. Amber Riley, another of her students, was a main cast member playing "Mercedes" on the 10 year Award winning TV show, "Glee" and is currently playing the lead role of "Effie" on the Broadway musical, "Dream Girls".

As a teacher, I get immense satisfaction from seeing my students excel and fly using the techniques and tools that I have taught them," Cyndi says beaming with pride. "My students have done tremendous things in the industry and it is my pleasure to continue to pass down the nuggets of wisdom and skill that I've obtained from over 30 years in the entertainment business."

Cyndi's training began at age 8 where she studied classical piano for 6 years. By age 15, she and her brother released their first independent single which did reasonably well locally. By age 19, while studying music at Ohio University, she along with her brother won "Right On" magazine's nationwide talent search and were offered two major recording contracts. She decided to sign with Philadelphia International Records under the auspices of Grammy Award winning producer, Thom Bell (who was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame). She studied under Thom Bell and it was there that she learned the art of record production. She also studied vocal production under legendary Grammy Award winning producer, Hal Davis (Jackson five fame). Cyndi was taught proper vocal technique by vocal trainer to the stars, Seth Riggs and continued her private studies learning the vocal techniques of the great Alan Linquist. Her teaching style has subsequently morphed into a combination of all these great inspirational instructors.

As a teacher, Cyndi is kind, patient and extremely enthusiastic when it comes to instructing her students. Her students always see her as their friend and one who they know will bring out the best in them and desires that they grow to their fullest potential.

*** Lesson Details ***
When you come to Cyndi for voice lessons, you can rest assured that your vocals will never be the same. She is as comfortable teaching the beginner as she is instructing the seasoned professional who wants to hone their skills even further. She can always bring something out of you that you didn't know was there. Maybe it's the confidence that she exudes when she instructs, maybe it's her innate ability to know what's needed at any given time to make the student better. But whatever it is, you can rest assured that your lesson will be fun, thorough, and the lesson plan that she devises will cause you to arrive at the musical goals that you've set for yourself. She can help you or your child prepare for upcoming auditions, as well as any other scheduled performance. Cyndi will create a lesson plan that will certainly be tailor-made for your style and needs.

*** Studio Equipment ***

*** Travel Equipment ***
I can bring my Cd player to play tracks etc....the student should have a recording device to record the lesson, whatever performance tracks we'd be working from, and a keyboard would be helpful but not necessary.

*** Specialties ***
My style of vocal training concentrates on singing in the 'Ng" position and using cuperto as the primary way to produce more tone with less effort. I also train my students to breath properly utilizing the lower lumbar area along with breathing from their diaphragm. I generally train vocal students in all genres of music and I stress stage presence in conjunction with proper vocal technique.

To be able to sing smoothly from your lowest note to your highest note regardless of how you feel is one of the many skills you gain from good vocal technique. Whether the high notes are challenging for you or the lower notes are challenging, singing on pitch, vocal strength or vocal consistency is an issue this can all be fixed with proper and healthy vocal technique. What I teach works quickly students usually hear of feel a difference on their first lesson.
Sounding good when you sing is not the only important part to a long singing career. To be able to do what you love throughout your life it is important to sing in a healthy way also. To be able to sing when you are healthy and rested is easy to some people however singing when you are tired, sick, stressed, fatigued or you have just stained your voice is another matter. Good vocal technique gives you the tools to sing in whatever physical shape your body is in. If you have vocal problems such as soft or hard nodules, pre or ...

About Britni
I have been studying the voice and healthy vocal
methods for over a decade. Previously, I was a Certified Speech Level Singing (SLS) Instructor under Maestro Seth Riggs, and am now currently a Certified Institute for Vocal
Advancement (IVA) Instructor.

I am very passionate about singing and teaching, and have so much fun doing so. As a voice instructor I require of myself to constantly excel and commit to a number of educational
hours and events each year. This process encourages me to be a teacher who is constantly growing and bettering myself for my students. I am passionate about continuously advancing my education by observing Master Teacher's from
around the world instruct both vocal pedagogy and performance development courses.
My devotion is to help each student find confidence, strength, and agility in their own unique v
oice. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to communicate and connect with people. I am quick to help my students feel at ease
and build their confidence – while also diagnosing the voice and helping the student grow and improve.

While being fun-loving and easy-going I also take great pride in helping my students to succeed in every capacity possible.

I have studied with the acclaimed Jeffrey Skouson as both a vocal student and as a teacher. Other Master Teacher's I have at one point studied with, or under, are: Maestro Seth Riggs, Greg Enriquez, Spencer Welch, Linda Tomkinson, Kathy
Kennedy, John Henny, Dave Stroud, Guy Babusek, Stephanie Borm, and more.

I am immensely passionate about teaching and furthering my education and experience, and am completely devoted to continuously educate myself to be a first-class teacher for my students. Come on in and enjoy the fun of singing!

*** Lesson Details ***
While studying voice may have its challenges and frustrations,
it still can be (& should be!) enjoyable and inspiring!

In our lessons you will spend the first half vocalizing and warming up the voice, and then the second half working on repertoire. I will record your vocalices (on a CD or other device) for you to practice with for the week. I am not a genre teacher, but a technique teacher. With whatever genre you wish to sing you can apply the technique. I will work with you on your song to change vowels and notes where needed, and also help you to connect to the story of the song.

I try to make the environment I teach in stress-free and
enjoyable. Before coming to a first lesson a student may feel intimidated or nervous, but please keep in mind that I am not here to judge or tear-down a student... Instead I am here to take them where they are at and help them to improve and grow. I will also never ask you to do something that will harm your voice – your vocal health is my main priority. I stand behind my education and personal experiences, and will only deliver my personal best to you.

As stress-free as my lessons are, there are still a few
expectations. I ask my students to do their own part and practice their vocalices throughout the week. The vocalices are designed to help your voice strengthen and increase in range and skill, therefore by practicing during the week you are helping your voice to continue to grow.

Come willing to learn, have fun, and make some silly noises in the meantime – you will be making some funny sounds, but they are designed to strengthen the vocal cords agility and adduction. In a nutshell, come prepared to sing! What good is a voice lesson without some singing?! Am I right?! :).
Also come prepared knowing you will make mistakes – mistakes are an important part of learning, and the sooner we stop expecting perfection is actually when we start to learn & grow the best. I do not expect perfection, just growth! And most of all, come prepared to have fun and to learn!

*** Studio Equipment ***
In my studio I have a piano to play scales, computer to record lessons and play songs, a sound system for music, a microphone & stage for performances/showcases (which are done at least twice a year), and a waiting area.
My current studio location is at a Theatre Company located in Henderson near 215 & Gibson. Parents are welcome to sit in the lobby or relax in their car as their child has their voice lesson.

*** Specialties ***
I studied the Speech Level Singing (SLS) method for over 8 years, and was a certified teacher in the method for over 2 years. I am currently now a certified teacher with the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA). I have requirements within my certifications to test yearly with a Master Teacher to ensure I am teaching healthy & proper technique. I specialize in technique and, regarding genres, I focus mostly on Broadway or Pop. However, through the technique I teach, I can help any genre of singer improve their vocal abilities.

Pick a few songs you want to sing. We'll test you out and record you so you can hear your progress. I'll provide some feedback so you'll sound like a star, or at least feel like one!
With anything, practice makes perfect. My singing lessons are simple at first, but if you listen and practice I guarantee you will see (hear) improvement.

About Jeff
Like many of my friends in high school not knowing what direction to take in life, I chose to take a business career path instead of one of a starving artist. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State Fullerton, a Masters from UC Irvine, and have had much success working for several Fortune 500 companies. However, my love of music always surfaces. And now that I have the resources and ability to spend more time having fun and enjoying life, I choose to spend some of this time teaching and helping students find a love for music.

Music has always been an important part of my life. I've had piano lessons since 6 yrs of age and been the lead tenor in many show choir and vocal performing groups. Since 2005, I've been learning the guitar from many local Las Vegas artists ranging from lounge bands at Caesars Palace to orchestra players for t
he Cirque du Soleil.

*** Lesson Details ***
As a kid, I enjoyed playing piano but I felt that my piano lessons were more of a chore than a hobby, a routine of playing songs I did not particularly like. I make lessons fun by having my students choose the music/genre that they want to play. When they learn songs that they like, students are more engaged and interested. And because they are enjoying themselves, they develop their musical talents more quickly.

My lessons are fun but also challenging. I take you out of your comfort zone by recording lessons from time to time so that you’ll know what you sound like. I feel that the best music comes out when you play from the heart. I teach fundamentals and theory, but I encourage creativity. Each artist is unique and my job is to bring out that individual music style and give you a foundation to grow on.

From a business perspective, I’m organized, punctual, friendly, informative and easy to learn from.

Try me!

*** Studio Equipment ***
I have contacts who can provide a full range of recording equipment and provide coaching assistance while recording in the studio. Your end product will be of higher quality for a lower price. We're professionals!

*** Travel Equipment ***
I can provide a guitar but would expect the student to have one or get one. I'll loan you one until you get one and I can provide some tips on where to shop.

*** Specialties ***
I enjoy R&B and jazz but can teach any style

ACADEMICS
I started out on take lessons as a music instructor, but I also teach a wide variety of academics. I do have an MBA so I can coach you well and help you ace those exams. Like my music lessons, practice makes perfect. So you'll need to study and "earn" those A+ grades.

About Chau
My name is Chau and I am a transplant from Australia who has resided in Las Vegas for the last 10 years. I have a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Western Sydney and University of Nevada, Las Vegas, majoring in vocal performance and music technology. I am a wife to the best husband and a mother to three fabulous girls. I've been teaching voice for over 15 years and have loved every minute of it because I truly care about my craft and more importantly, my students and their creative goals. I was a Music Specialist at Merryhill School in Las Vegas, teaching K-8th Grade, until I became pregnant with my middle child. I've also worked in church worship teams for the past 15 years, both in Australia (Sydney and Brisbane) and Las Vegas, Nevada. My faith dictates the way I live my life and as a young child, my dad taught me to alwa
ys strive for excellence in all that I do. This mentality has undoubtedly motivated my teaching career. My students can count on a teacher who is prepared and creative in developing a learning experience that will exponentially €œgrow€ them in their creative field.
I inherited my love for singing from my Mum -- as a child I watched her perform and wished that I could one day do the same. At the age of 15, after auditioning, I was selected to be a part of the New South Wales Senior (High School) State Choir and as a result, I toured the USA in 1999 representing the Australian Embassy in the United States. This was around the same time that I caught €œthe bug€ and decided to pursue music as a career. I then went on to study music, first briefly at the Music Conservatorium in Sydney and then finishing my Bachelor's degree in Music at the University of Western Sydney. I was first classically trained vocally and with that background, moved onto more contemporary vocal styles. After marrying my husband, I moved to Las Vegas and began to study Counseling/Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Music and Counseling, to me, made the perfect marriage as I love music and love people equally. Needless to say, teaching music and helping people has made my life very fulfilling.

Chau has been a great instructor for me. When I was searching for a vocal coach, I took into consideration not only their credentials and experience but their ego or lack there of. Chau has fulfilled all my expectations that I wanted from a vocal coach. She really cares about her craft, her students and their progress. She's down-to-earth and is a positive energy to be around.

Chau has been a great match for me. She tells me how it is. She knows when to give me encouragement and when to kick me in the butt. She's strict in a good way. She notices little details and teaches me how to develop my own vocal awareness so I can start to notice mistakes myself when I practice on my own. She demonstrates special techniques that have been instrumental to my progress. I am thankful for her support and expertise, and for being a part of my journey to make my dream come true to learn to sing at last. ^_^

Even if you're a total beginner or experienced singer, you're in great hands!! ^_^

🎥 🎶🎙 LESSON DETAILS 🎥 🎶🎙
Most teachers "vocalize" or "warm you up" for 5 or 10 minutes and then the lesson is spent just singing songs with no real emphasis on how to execute awe-inspiring and healthy singing.

Working with me is a truly distinctive experience, much like a workout with a trainer (Don't laugh because I'm a little overweight!). We will spend the hour working on very physical and concrete exercises to build a comprehensive technique that will support you through any genre of singing. At the end of each lesson, usually about 15 minutes, we can work on you
r chosen repertoire. Utilizing both vocalise and song literature of your choosing, we will go through very pragmatic and utilitarian methods that will generate an easy, free and uniquely individual sound.

I have been been blessed to be able to work with Zeffin for over 2 years now. Zeffin is a great voice coach, and he has been very instrumental in helping develop my instrument continuously and steadily. I can only highly recommend to anyone serious about singing, but don't take my spot. OK?

Shortly after finding Zeffin 2 1/2 years ago, my daughter started getting cast in shows! He has a way of working with children to bring out the best in them in a very natural way. He asks probing questions, makes them think about each scene and character and truly has a gift for working with young talent. My daughter has learned so much and grown in her acting ability. He is a great resource for all kinds of questions about the business. We are so glad we found him.

A musician and an actor willing to train singers of any genre and any age! Specializing in musical theatre, keeping the voice safe while remaining vulnerable is my main goal when coaching- as well as tailoring my lessons to the musical style and aesthetic unique to the student. Lessons largely focus on breathing and resonance while the student and I can build a repertoire useful for whatever artistic endeavors they choose to pursue- whether it's a songbook for audition use or a composition of the students'. As a songwriter and composer I also offer to help singer/songwriters develop new music and a unique sound. If you're looking to explore your musicianship and creativity in anything from Broadway to bluegrass or if you have questions, please feel free to shoot me a message!

About Annelise
BFA audition season is coming up! Looking for an audition coach for acting or musical theatre? I'd be happy to help! Straight from the horse's mouth, I'll give you the inside information on what goes on in the audition room and how to get the most out of your time in front of the panel.

I'm an actor/musician born and raised in Las Vegas home for the summer before my final year at Montclair State University as a BFA Acting student. I've been studying music since six years old and have been doing acting and musical theatre for 7 years alongside directing, writing, voice tutoring, and composing.

Acting lessons available for a toolbox approach including Meisner, Uta Hagen, Improv, Stanislavski, Practical Aesthetics, and classics along with the voice work of Skinner and Linklater and movement technique of Laban and Suzuki. Lessons are t
otally personalized for the needs of the actor and can range from Shakespeare to contemporary scene study with a focus on specificity, clarity, vulnerability, and sincerity.

I teach singers in all genres, though I have the most experience in MT, folk, and pop. My goal is to help students not only learn to sing with the utmost vulnerability and honesty, but to ensure that they can do so while maintaining safe technique through breathing and relaxation. I work hard to eliminate affectations and habits to find the most uninhibited and expressive that the student's voice has to offer. MT singers will also focus largely on acting and finding authenticity within the suspended reality of song.

Lessons are tailored to the music taste and needs of the student and lesson plans are completely individualized to ensure the student is learning at growing at whatever pace suits their path while making sure they're still having fun and making art. If the student is interested in writing their own music, good news! I'm always willing to help fellow songwriters with composition.

I also offer lessons to child singers and actors as I love nothing more than seeing kid artists. Children's voice lessons are largely based in Musical Theatre/classics, focusing on ear training, sheet music, phrasing, rhythms, and breathing while children's acting lessons are based largely in classic/contemporary film and theatre, focusing on projection, clarity, commitment, and confidence.

A firm believer that anyone can act and anyone can sing- willing to teach anyone who doesn't already know more than I do!
