I can mostly focus on beginning Spanish as I was fluent at a young age, as I grew up in Spain until I was 11. Not so good at all the grammar rules, as I am out of practice.

About Lance
I have got my bachelors in Art Education from Boise state University, where I also took classes or participated in Volleyball and baseball. I have been teaching art since 2006, mostly at the elementary level. one year at the middle school level. I love making things, specially for costumes as Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. As a teacher I get to teach a little bit of everything and I also get to learn new things that I would like to try and learn as well as teach. I have been teaching basic stop motion animation with my students. I have also been airbrushing for 10 years, with my focus on painting t-shirts.

Hi,
"I've been teaching Spanish for 13 years and my students have gone on to love Spanish language, culture, and study abroad. Some of my students continued studying Spanish in college and even be Spanish Honor classes. Some students even made it their major. We begin with easy sentences and then as time goes on, you'll be able to conjugate the verbs and able to make some sentences and short conversations. I am using a curriculum for young adults that I have used in my school teaching which includes Spanish culture and other subjects and we will have lots of material to accompany your lessons. I love working with students of all levels and make our lessons as fun as possible.

Fulvia has been our teacher now for 3 years. We wanted to learn Italian because we travel to Italy often.
Each lesson is well prepared and thought through by the teacher. Fulvia uses many different ways to make lessons fun and the language more approachable.
They include books, videos and interactive games etc. There is always a bit of homework to do to help follow up with the weekly lesson. She always finds ways to help us understand subjects that are challenging.
That Fulvia is a native speaker of the Italian language is a big bonus.
Fulvia is a great teacher and we highly recommend her.

I started learning Spanish on an AFS trip to Montevideo, Uruguay in 1987. After taking 3 years of French in High School, I was given a Oxford pocket Spanish Guide by my host family and was indoctrinated into Spanish the old fashioned way- Immersion! Luckily, the verbs were similar and pronunciation was much easier than French. By the 2nd month I was dreaming in Spanish. I have tutored Spanish beginners with not experience, at the university level, and they have passed their classes with high marks (A). I have communicated with students and parents in my career as a teacher with the CCSD with clarity and confidence. Spanish is a wonderful language and I'd like to open up all of its possibilities for you, whether for business or pleasure. I'll even be able to help you with your accent. I'm looking forward to teaching you soon. John
