Acoustic guitar for celtic, bluegrass and klezmer music
I teach guitar basics like the names of the strings, tuning, ear training, strumming and finger-picking.
Teaching all aspects of guitar: chords, strumming, finger picking, learning your favorite songs, scales, guitar soloing techniques, all genres, ear training, music theory, reading music and guitar tablature, and advanced jazz guitar method.
All styles from shred to swing.
I teach all styles of guitar, on electric, acoustic and classical. I can show you how to read music in both standard notation and tablature. My goal is to teach you how to have fun and really enjoy making music and so I cater to each student's specific goals. (Not everyone wants to get up on stage and play!) I'll never yell at you for not practicing because I understand you have a life outside of guitar, but the more time you put in the sooner you'll be making music!
