If you want to reach for the real expression of music...

My teacher always let me learn how to design my intention to play a music, only through pressing /pushing keys, with my enjoyment, even when I play scales !
She is the 3rd piano teacher in my life but I have never seen before the amazing teacher like her, who thinks with a student how to reach for real expression of music.....
I really thank TakeLessons for leading me to her. It is mystery in my life.

Jeanne is a fantastic teacher

Jeanne is a great person and very easy to communicate with and I personally think that makes for a nice teacher/student relationship. I can ask her questions and she explains things very well. I feel in the 4 short weeks I have been working with her that she has taught me quite a bit. Each week I leave there with something new to challenge myself with. I would highly recommend Jeanne as she is a wonderful piano teacher. Thank you Jeanne. I look forward to this journey of learning.

My three granddaughters and I are taking lessons with Ben. I asked each of the girls to give me three words about Ben and we all agreed. He is patient, fun and funny and, they added, "I really like him and he knows a lot about teaching and playing the piano." I was a teacher and professor for many years, and I know good teaching when I see it. Ben is a very good teacher. Not only is he patient and at ease with his students, he seems always to be aware of each of them and able to respond to their needs. I'm impressed and feel fortunate to have found someone who is also responsible and reliable, and takes his work seriously. It is a great pleasure to work with Ben and we all look forward to our weekly lesson.

Top notch teacher

My son has been taking lessons from Ben now for a little over a month. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and reliability of Ben. I figured it would take a lot to keep a 16 year old boy who is a beginner totally interested in piano but Ben has managed to do just that. My son actually looks forward to his weekly lessons and practices without hesitation and I can only attribute that to the teaching techniques of Ben. If anyone is contemplating on choosing Ben for their or their child's instructor, hesitate no further. He is one of the best.
