I've been teaching guitar for the past thirteen years, and I've worked with all kinds of students. From children, to teenagers, to adults, everyone who I've had the pleasure to sit down with has told me what they want to get out of the guitar, and I've made it my responsibility to help them reach their goal. Within the first few lessons, every student develops a new perspective, and approaches the guitar with the clarity and confidence to grow as a musician at a pace comfortable for them.

I am a Masters Degreed Educator who has been teaching for over 20+ years. I can provide you with lessons on proper technique, music theory, chords, scales, songwriting, and more. I currently teach with Guitar Center/Music Arts in the local area but I am looking for more students to fill out my schedule.

I am a guitar player, singer/songwriter performer and recording artist. I am self taught and formally trained, graduate from Musicians Institute. I play acoustic and electric guitar. As my student, I will work at your pace teaching you basic music theory, guitar chord charts and tab so that you can easily learn how to play your favorite songs and create your own songs.

I have a fluid teaching approach based on my REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE with an emphasis on improving technique, musicianship and a “truth is love approach” to ensure musical improvement within the first two weeks of lessons! I sincerely believe creating music should be a joyful & fulfilling experience and one that will be a positive change in someone’s life (as it has been for mine). I teach all genres of music on multiple instruments and specialize in audition preparation, real-life gig preparation and musical mastery. I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations, while having a good time doing something that they love.
