I will mostly work with Beginners who would like to play Guitar! Have worked with adults and Children in the past and have taught private and classroom Guitar!

From Finger style playing such as Andy Mckee to Chicken Picking such as Jimmy Wahlsteen. Acoustic guitar has probably the most interpretations on how to play it and with that comes even more techniques so we can focus on exactly what you want to learn.

Children and adults alike benefit from and enjoy the personalized elements of our teaching style. We provide students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and techniques necessary to become skilled musicians, and are always happy to help students work toward their individual goals for learning. We believe strongly that learning should be fun. We work hard to ensure an enjoyable learning experience. In making sure that students enjoy what they are learning, we add value to the skills that are taught, by fostering a true appreciation for the joy music can bring.

I have taught guitar since 2012 and have been playing since 2000. I am happy to take students at the beginner and intermediate levels. I believe strongly in integrating music theory and ultimately moving students toward musical self-suffiency, rather than focusing exclusively on learning particular pieces.

I love working with a range of kids to adults. I teach music theory and a variety of styles of music entirely dependent on what the student is looking for.
