I had an amazing experience with Connor Frost on the trial lesson for the 'Online Introductory Mandarin' classes. I decided to take his classes right away. What I liked from him? Everything, but putting in words, he has a strong online methodology, he's Chinese-American (his English is native, for me it's like I'm learning Chinese and practicing my English at the same time), he's very professional, patient, friendly, and it's clear he has all expertise and tools to make anyone learn Mandarin. I took about 6 months of Mandarin lessons with Connor, and myself and my Taiwanese family members all notice how far I’ve come. In just these months, I have come much closer than I could have expected to my goal of being able to understand basic Mandarin conversations. Connor personalized my lessons to focus on the Taiwanese variations spoken by my family. My 4.5 year old daughter had her first piano lesson with Jingci. I had learned how to play piano when I was a kid, so I could tell Jingci knows how to teach the basic foundation very well. She's firm yet patient and got my daughter to follow her instructions even though her attention span isn't that great at her age.
