I teach rock, folk, and jazz guitar to beginner and intermediate players. In addition to teaching, I am a singer, songwriter, and performer. I have a passion for teaching, and find no greater happiness than helping people discover the joy of music. All of my instruction is tailored to the desires and goals of the individual student.

I have ten years experience as a knowledgeable guitarist and instructor. I can't wait to meet you for our first lesson!

I have been playing guitar for 26 years, and have experience playing and teaching practically every style of guitar, including blues, jazz, fingerstyle, classical, folk, rock, pop, country, and metal. When I first started learning the guitar, I emulated the blues greats like Eric Clapton and BB King in order to learn what they knew. Blues is a great foundation for playing solos in any genre. I have been teaching guitar for almost 10 years. Let my experience and patience guide you on your way to mastering the guitar!

I was first asked to teach blues guitar by a guy I met on a street corner on the Temple Campus. I had never really played blues before that, but I used my knowledge of Ragas to develop a unique approach to the genre which has worked for me very well since I started with it several years ago. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years—since 1987—and I'm ready to pass my knowledge and experience along to you. I teach all ages, all levels, and all styles (but my specialties are rock and blues). I am a member of Mu Phi Epsilon, the international professional music fraternity, having been initiated in 1998 at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, while I was attending their music education program.

I'm based in Marietta/East Cobb (just outside of Atlanta), but I'm proud to offer lessons to almost anywhere* that the internet and your computer can reach.
