I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology. This is a class where you travel around the globe, learn about different cultures without leaving your house. Anthropology is fascinating. You can learn about traditions from different cultures and this will give you perspective of why humans act the way they act. Learning from other cultures will help you understand your own society better and you will take distance from today's issues and analyse them in a more efficient way.

Are you ready to improve your grade in Geometry? I'd love to help you understand the math course you're taking and have fun with it.

If you need assistance with your Geometry class to understand the way it is presented in the book, I’ll help you comprehend every lesson. We can even try an alternate method until the light bulb comes on. Because once you understand a concept, you can return to the required method.

My only goal is for you to succeed!

Concepts in Geometry:
Lines

Triangles
Quadrilaterals
Polygons
Circles

Definitions
Postulates
Theorems
Proofs
Word problems

I’m also a devotee of grammar and proofreading skills. I have been hired be several published authors to proofread their novels prior to publications. So if you need assistance with improving your Writing Skills, I am available for this as well – two tutors for the “price” of one.

"I have had several lessons with Jennie Bissell in my home. I often give lectures in academic settings, and I was hoping to improve the quality and fluency of my speech to a level equivalent to top public speakers. Working with Jennie, I made improvements beyond what I could have expected. We worked on a variety of breathing and relaxation techniques used by professional actors. By focusing on producing speech "on voice" the quality and ease of understanding of my speaking increased substantially with immediate benefits. I highly, highly recommend her services for anyone interested in improving their public speaking skills."

"I'm happy to say I found Colin for help with my calculus 1 class. I was doing okay from the beginning, but I felt like I was lacking the depth of understanding of some core algebra concepts and wanted to get solid on them before the class got more challenging (integration), as I was striving for an A in the class. Colin was a wizard at honing in on my weak points and he did an excellent job of really breaking things down and honestly, presenting concepts in more tangible ways than did any of my algebra teachers. I used the principles I learned from my sessions with Colin to get me through some challenging exam problems, and I'm proud to say that I ended up with a 97% in the class overall!"
