I am available to teach Method Acting. Hour sessions are available but count as two 30 minute sessions back to back.

Have been training actors in NYC for 15 years and many have gone on to films, TV, getting agents. Have been director and casting director in both NY and LA and know what auditions entail and what they want to see in order to cast you!

The thing that separates me from the rest of the guides you will find on this subject is that my knowledge and experience comes from the Private Security field...specializing in "Undercover/plain clothed" investigations, leading to professional level proficiency in Human Behavior and Psychology.

In my brief existence on earth, somehow, all of my interests, flaws, and experiences fit together like a puzzle and have lead me to the point where I can understand Human Behavior and Psychology fluently....raising me to a life of leadership.

How did I end up directing Actors?  I was searching for a more positive expression for my knowledge while still supporting peoples life goals.  This search dropped me down a rabbit hole of research including method actors, and eventually Stanislavski's system, and the great Uta Hagen which shocked me.... until that very moment my life experiences resembled many aspects of these systems without even knowing they existed.

See Acting. I am a member of the Actors Studio and understand the precepts from their origin. write to me with specific questions and I will be pleased to enter into a dialogue. I have very strong opinions on the methods and find it often misunderstood. I am a very good teacher of the Tension-Relaxation in the Chair work as well as the Sense Memory work. I have the original list of Sense Memory exercises passed down from Lee Strasberg to the two women who I spent years studying with. This is very important work and I believe in it and understand it.

I've been working as a professional actor in the theatre and on-camera for over 25 years. I've performed with the Shakespeare Theatre in DC, ACT Theatre in Seattle, Book-It Repertory, Seattle Shakespeare Company, and Shakespeare Santa Cruz to name a few. I've also been the featured voice in voiceovers for companies like University of Washington Medical, Golden 1 State Credit Union, Microsoft, and Surface Pro 3. On Camera Credits include short films, industrials, and commercials for Taco Time, Tulalip Casino, and Washington Dental Association.

I hold a BFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MFA from the Shakespeare Theatre's Academy for Classical Acting in Washington DC. My ...
