J's assisted me with my public speaking tremendously. I am not an actor at all but I struggle with speaking on camera and in front of people and J used strategies from stage performance principles and applied them. I went from stuttering and stumbling over words to speaking with clarity and confidence. I look forward to continuously work with him.

Dancig my way into this world since age three, I searched and searched until finally met with the technique that involved me and transported me completely, Bharatanatyam. I graduated form the world famous Kalakshetra Foundation in 2019, and now I am teaching as part of the necesary training.
Even though I come from the Kalakshetra tradition, my view on dance goes quite beyond, having learnt several other techniques such as Javanese Classical Dance, Western contemporary etc.
However, the base will be firm. We'll cover all basic adavus, theory and items. The pace and sylabus will be adjusted according to your experience and needs. I am pasionate, but patient. Above all, dedicated. My goal is to pass that on.

About Sofia

Patience and flexibility, combined with a broad understanding of the way different bodies might work plus the proper knowledge of technique and theory that characterizes Kalakshetra alumni. I value the responsibility that a teacher undertakes when they face their student, and out of respect and adm

"I was very pleased that Taylor offered Skype lessons, but I was a bit worried whether I could learn in this format or not. To my surprise, it was exceptionally easy and rewarding! Currently, Taylor and I are working on a piece that I am composing for my short film. Of course, as a newbie, I knew nothing about Apple’s Logic Pro X when I began, but Taylor took her time to explain just how the software worked, as well as the techniques I needed for scoring my film. I highly recommend Taylor and the very convenient Skype format! You won’t be disappointed."

"I worked with Randy on my speaking voice. In just 5 weeks my voice for videos and presentations was much better and I had a plan for further improvements. He's easy to talk to, non-judgemental and provides sage advice. Randy was good at prioritizing things for me to work on, which made it easy to make progress quickly. He split tasks into those that required class time and those that I could teach myself. I'm leaving with specific exercises and books to read for self-improvement."

Careers in Acting: On Stage and Behind the Scenes

Directors, flymen, producers, actors, and even box office staff – there are so many options available to those who have a passion for the performing arts industry. All careers in acting for stage are linked by one thing: a shared love and appreciation for creating live theater. Because of the associated pressures, and long and surprisingly unsociable hours related to the industry, many people who maintain careers in acting do so because they love what they do. Sequins don’t sew themselves o …
