My name is Nichoals Richardson and I am a working professinal actor from England with a passion for teaching, wich I have cultivated over the years. My approach is friendly and detailed and based on my experiecne in the industry and what works today. Part of our work together will be focussing on improving your skills tehcniquly, as well as building your confidence and exploring potential. I bleive acting training can be extremly improtant whether your goals are to become a proffesional acotor or build communication skills, public speaking, or general confidence.

I have a BA in Televison, Film and Theater theory from Bristol Univeristy in England, and an MA in Acting from The Guidlhall School of Music and Drama (alumni includes Daniel Craig, Orlando Bloom, Lilly James) which is a classical training.

Acting for film requires finding simple powerful ways to transmit the emotions and inner world of the character. I work with the student to keep their work simple, yet powerful.

A bit about me: I have a a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Acting in film, I have studied a range of techniques from Meisner, improv, audition technique, Shakespeare, script analysis and scene study just to name a few. I have since studied under some of the top acting coaches in NYC and Los Angeles. I have featured on shows such Bull (CBS), Madame Secretary (CBS), Divorce (HBO), the other two (Comedy Central), New Amsterdam (NBC) to name a few. I have also been in a lead in a film selected for Toronto Film Festival and been apart of Sundance Theatre Program and Lincoln center Theatre lab.

These are just some of the things I have done in my time working and learning in the industry and that have equipped me with the necessary tools to help you learn and grow and succeed in this very challenging industry! I take a very personalized approach with my students; First understanding their needs and the areas of growth and then will apply the needed techniques to help ...

As my student, you can expect a highly personalized experience. Whatever your experience, skill, or comfort level with performing is, I will work with you to make you a more present, spontaneous, and relaxed performer. Maybe you're just starting out as an actor and what some extra coaching. Maybe you've never acted before but want to give it a try. Or maybe you aren't interested in being on stage but want some advice on becoming an effective public speaker. I'm available for monologue advice, audition preparation and coaching, scene work, as well as general acting lessons or help with presentation and public speaking skills.

I believe in using what's unique about you as a person in your performance, so we'll spend time working together on how to bring out the "you" in your acting!

I believe in guiding rather than dictating, so I will always act as the guide to your discoveries rather than dictating what your performance "should" be. My background is primarily in Meisner acting work,

I have been teaching and coaching actors for over 20 years. My students work professionally on stage, TV and film. Within the first few lessons, you will understand how to create a character. Soon, you will have the skills to book a role. I specialize in method acting, but draw upon my experience at The Second City (improvisation) in Chicago and other training I have had. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels; I can't wait to meet you!
