Andrew is a stellar guitar instructor! He's patient, precise and our practice sessions are loads of fun. We're working on new stuff every week (currently, we're focused on finger-style). Anytime I get stuck, he helps me find where I'm tripping, break it down and get "unstuck" (thanks Andrew!)... His online video classroom setup is professional and looks\sounds crisp and clear.

Highly recommended.

I have played and taught music professionally for the last 8 years. I have a diverse background as a musician, playing multiple instruments (drums, guitar, bass, and piano), composing, arranging and producing. Lessons are personalized and accommodated for the student's personal needs/goals. My lessons consist of technique, music theory, sight-reading, and most importantly learning songs/music that you want to learn. In addition to teaching you all the basics of guitar, I try to incorporate time in each lesson where we are both jamming with each other. Since I play multiple instruments, I love being able to jam with students, so that they are able to learn how to make music with other musicians. ALL AGES WELCOMED!

Seemed a little disorganized. It might have been part of the "getting to know me" process and what I wanted to accomplish. The hour went by very fast!

I have taken lessons from Benjamin, and found him to be an excellent teacher. If you are looking for someone to teach you bass, or guitar you can't find a more patient teacher. I would recommend him to anyone seeking lessons.

I have been a student of Tim’s for a little over a year now. I started playing guitar at age 52 and when I started with Tim I was very close to giving up or settling on just being able to strum a few chords. I have had many hand injuries in the past that have resulted in arthritis and lack of dexterity in my wrists and some of my fingers and I started doubting I would ever be able to progress in my ability to play. From the very first lesson where I told Tim about my hand issues and my frustrations, he told me he was sure we could work around any physical limitations I had, and he was right. Tim has been able to work with me on alternative ways to play the chords I was having trouble with and has shown me that these alternate techniques along with the bit of music theory he sprinkles into lessons can really expand my ability to play.

In the time I have been studying with Tim, I have done more than I thought I ever could. I went from a frustrated beginner guitar player to having enough confidence to play on stage with some of Tim’s other students and I am now looking forward to what I will be able to do on the guitar instead of being frustrated with what I can’t do.

Tim is a talented and passionate musician as well as a knowledgeable and very relatable instructor which is a rare combination and he's also a really great guy and any student of any age or ability will benefit from studying with him.
Sam
Tim is an excellent guitar teacher and an overall great guy. He provided me with structure and support, enabling me to make the most out of my practice and ultimately progress as a player. His warm personality and contagious enthusiasm for music kept me looking forward to our time together each week. He was also very flexible when it came to scheduling to accommodate for my dynamic schedule.
Brad
Tim is an excellent teacher, providing excellent advice, practice techniques, and insights. He makes learning and improving easy and enjoyable.

"My 8 year old raved about Joshua being her favorite teacher after her first lesson. Joshua creates a lesson plan that's incredibly effective, time efficient, and focused on empowering the students passion for music. My daughter felt safe in his home and we were both impressed by his teaching tools in addition to his guitar collection. Last, he's got a great attitude and is relentlessly positive. Highly recommend!"

"I took lessons from Greg, as did my daughter. Both of us had very positive experiences. Greg is a talented player and teacher. The thing that impressed me most was how he connected with my daughter, an early elementary student at the time, and extremely shy. There weren’t many people outside her family she connected with easily, but she likes him so much that she asked him to accompany her on guitar when she sang for her school talent show — which he graciously did on his own time. Thanks, Greg!"
