About Gaurav
As a graduate of the Carnegie Mellon Mechanical Engineering program, I had the opportunity to provide guidance to students in multiple ways. I helped incoming freshman in the Introduction to Mechanical Engineering classes as a Teaching Assistant and also as a grader. I made sure to provide clear feedback on all homework assignments to ensure that students were steered the right direction.

As a teaching assistant, I would assist the professor in proctoring exams so I have a lot of experience interacting with students and being able to adapt to different situations.

Before college, I spent two years tutoring at Kumon Learning Center in high school where I would teach younger elementary school children Math and Reading. As I go forward, I'd like to continue to share the knowledge I have and help people learn.

I also have previous
experience tutoring online and have multiple students learn the fundamentals of the subject they wanted to understand. I look forward to working with you!

About Amy
Hi, my name is Amy. I recently graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick Business School last year with a Bachelors in Science degree in Business Analytics and Information Technology. While going to school full time, I've had experience with tutoring kids, young adults, and adults English. I have a passion for helping kids and young adults to speak, read and write English as their second language. As someone who was born and raised in America, surprisingly, English was not my first language. My childhood consisted of countless years of perfecting the American English Language while maintaining my native language. Currently, I am studying my GRE/GMATs for Graduate School. Aside from school and teaching English, some of my other interests/hobbies include: Traveling, road trips, reading, discovering new food places, watching re-runs
of "Friends", volunteering, and coding!

About Charli
I’m Charli Pierce-Wilcox, “Ms. Char” for short. I have been working with children in various educational settings for a little over 10 years English being one of my favorites to teach and tutor.

I’m currently finishing my degree at Temple University in English. I’m also a releasing my first published children’s book entitled “You’re too little”.

I believe books and writing gives our minds the opportunity to be imaginative and expressive. To travel the world without ever leaving our rooms. To design characters and places we never thought to explore.

Through out my academic journey I have experienced writer’s block, creative ruts, and master the art of doodling while deleting (lol).

I desire to help you build on your strengths as a reader and writer. Implementing instruction that will challenge and bring about improvements in a saf
e and fun environment.

Basic Email Writing Skills for Professionals
Most of us are pretty comfortable with using email as a primary tool for written communication in our personal and professional lives. But while some shorthand and a couple of typos don’t do too much harm in a friendly email, the same speaks volumes in the workplace (and not in the fun, casual way you may think). Whether you’re communicating internally with colleagues and executives, or externally with your client base, polished email writing skills will come handy in your professional arsenal.
