Hi, my name is Andy. I've been teaching music professionally for the past 15 years. In that time, I've worked with students of almost every conceivable age and ability level on a wide variety of instruments (ukulele, guitar, bass guitar, banjo, harmonica, piano) and am here to help make your musical dreams come true.
I customize my lessons to the needs/learning style of each individual student with a focus on technique, music theory, and songwriting. With all that in mind, I'd love to hear about your musical goals and figure out the best path to get you there.

His flexible teaching style was responsive to my musical growth and interests. As we went, Andy sprinkled in some easy to understand music theory. I learned a lot of my favorite songs (including several out of the mainstream). He worked with me to adapt songs written for guitar to banjo. He also helped me to pick quality instruments that were right for me and my budget.
Highly recommend!

Learn your favorite tunes! Single notes, bends, fun riffs and melodies. My love of the blues and Stevie Wonder is what drew me to the harmonica, and I really enjoy sharing that.
In the first several music lessons we establish overall music fundamentals. Good ears (notes), and good time feel (rhythm). We also get the basics of harmonica playing technique, and a song or two. After that, we expand into whatever music inspires you.
My hope is that I'll help you become a well round musician and harmonica player :-)
