About Natalie
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, at the age of 9, Natalie knew music was something that was just a part of who she was. Writing songs on the piano before lessons could be scheduled, Natalie found herself immersed in a medium that would bring her joy for the rest of her life.

By age 14 Natalie had won several trophies competing in Classical piano with the Illinois Music Association.

As an adult, she would go on to fill her life with the world of music as a singer, songwriter, performer and recording artist.

Graduating from Elmhurst College (1997) with a Bachelor's in Music, Natalie received high accolades earning a membership in the Lambda Sigma Psi Music Honor Society.

During her college years, Natalie created and owned a local music publication called, "The Local Buzz". At this moment she had discovered her
desire to teach. "I just wanted everyone I knew in music to know and use what I was learning, or had learned from the music classes, professionals I had been meeting and working with, and my overall music life experiences". By 1997, Natalie was signed to an independent label and embarked on a new adventure.

"Music is an adventure, but without the foundation and passion I had as a child, I would have never landed where I did. I truly LOVE to teach and share what I know about piano, and the world of music. Music is what I know, and know best. Helping to create a solid foundation and build confidence in someone embarking on a journey in music is the most rewarding profession I have ever had the honor of participating in."

*** Lesson Details ***
Natalie enjoys teaching students of any age, but specializes in piano, voice and beginning guitar, tailoring lessons to each individual's goals and reasons for learning whether it be for personal pleasure or professional performance.

Keeping things lighthearted and fun, Natalie breathes confidence into each student using her sense of humor, and down-to-earth personality.

Feeding off 40 years of personal and professional experiences, Natalie patiently listens to the student's desires, needs and notates their learning patterns, allowing for growth at their own pace.

Natalie's goal is to Make Music Matter to you and create a foundation that will allow you to continue to find joy in making music for the rest of your life.

About Steven
Since 1998, I have taught students of all ages in multiple genres. Many of my alumni have gone on to become voice and music theatre majors at some of the most prestigious programs in the USA, as well as becoming professional performing and recording artists all around the world, so I have gone online so that I can reach out to my students anywhere on Earth!

Online lessons allow us to work together without having to waste time traveling to my studio, not to mention wasting money on transit, tolls, gas or parking. Additionally, it has allowed me to offer my lessons for considerably less than I did "in-person." In addition to singing lessons, I've also worked with online students on monologues, on-camera instructional videos and voiceovers.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

My daughter has expressed a love for music and singing from a very early age. As a parent, I thought she had a beautiful voice and that was confirmed by a good friend of mine who recommended me to Steven. I started Olivia with Steven when she was 9 years old. Through his instruction and guidance her voice has grown tremendously. She was awarded a major role as a 5th grader in her school play and then went on to be the lead as a 6th and 7th grader. She was the youngest student in the history of the school to earn a lead role.

Olivia also auditioned for the Paper Mill Playhouse Summer Conservatory and was accepted for their August Intensive program. I have no doubt that it was Steven's teaching that helped her with her audition that gained her acceptance.

Olivia is now 12 and as a young person, needs to learn how to interpret a song so that she can perform it well. Steven takes the time to teach the MEANING of the words and explains the story that is trying to be told. This was very important for Olivia to learn.

I highly recommend working with Steven. He is a fabulous teacher with a lot of knowledge and insight.

About Yulia
I started teaching while was doing my Masters in economics, as Teaching Assistant for Intermediate Macroeconomics course. 3 years later I was an author and lecturer of Macroeconomics course for undergrads. I have a great experience of working not only with large auditory but also with small groups. All years of my teaching career I was giving private lessons in Economics for High school, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics for undergraduates so I have a huge library for problems, approaches for explanation and enough knowledge to bring the academic problem to the real world.

Yulia was my first economics teacher at school and I can best summarize my experience as her student in several words: she determined my future career path. I believe it’s her inspiration and curiosity about macroeconomics, her talent to communicate complicated econ world issues to students in an easy and fascinating manner that lead me to go to one of the best colleges in country to study economics IN ORDER TO TEACH economics thereafter...And continue my studies as a PhD student in the US doing research in macroeconomics (no surprise! Thanks Yulia!). I remember Yulia as a young and energetic woman, who is knowledgeable not only in economics but in art, literature and cooking. She is very open minded and does not stick to one particular paradigm - a kind of person you want your teacher to be nowadays. She teaches in a very structured way, is ready to help with all your questions and you really feel like you learned a lot. Bravo and thank you a lot.

Huge base of knowledges helps her to give answers to the questions that can arise during classes. Highly recommend this instructor !

I am an educator with 3 years of experience in teaching students of bachelor’s and master’s programs. I have taught Biology, biotechnology, biochemistry and molecular biology along with taking the lab sessions for the respective subjects.

I hold a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology.

While working as an assistant professor for a state university I have organised many workshops and seminars to provide hands-on training to students.

I was rated the highest in terms of integrating technology in the classroom for the better understanding of the students. My students have always found my powerpoint presentations, videos and study material extremely helpful in grasping the concepts and applying it while solving problems.

I believe in one-on-one discussion of the topic and an interactive mode of
teaching to keep the students involved and engaged with the classroom’s atmosphere.

Teachning biology is not just my profession but also my passion and it has given me a skillset to understand and solve problems in other subjects like chemistry, physics and mathematics as well.

Sanchita is one of the best tutors that I have had the pleasure to study from. She not only saved me from failing my biochemistry course which I absolutely abhorred, but inculcated an immense interest in the subject in me. It's truly amazing how she breaks down the most complex concepts into smaller bits so that they are easy to understand.
She is a great mentor as well as a great human being. Apart from strengthening my fundamentals in biochemistry she also aided in honing my soft skills.
