I had my doubts at first of taking a class online, because I am not an easy student, my body awareness is not very good, but Corbin is such a great teacher and he knows very well what he is doing, so I was pleasantly surprised with the results. He is patient, encouraging and to the point. Highly recommended.

Corbin was fantastic!! He really knows his stuff. I came to him with a few things to work on and he identified them without me telling him. He also picked up on several other items that we addressed. He had some great techniques to help me identify what I could do better and then had the suggestions for improvement. I am looking forward to working with Corbin again. Excellent experience.

She was really great, we have only had one lesson so far but she made me feel very comfortable and I feel like she will be perfect for me helping me get over my stage fright. She came up with quite a few ideas up front and can tell she is taking it seriously, which makes me even more confident in her because it is such a serious issue for me. I love film acting! Students can expect to learn how to act for the camera: how to audition for film, TV and commercials and how to tap into their own inner resources in order to perform on film. Film acting performances are more nuanced because of the nature of the medium.

About Dana
Hello. I am a Colorado State and New York State-certified drama teacher. I moved to Denver recently, and I am looking for students that want to learn stage and/or film acting and audition preparation.

I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and received my B.A. in Theatre and Psychology. I earned my Master's degree in Educational Theatre from New York University in New York, New York.

I am a nurturing and high-energy teacher, and I understand different students learn differently. Shy students, you will feel comfortable, I promise!

I have worked as a professional actor in the theater as well as film. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild. I have an artistic resume that I am happy to share upon request.

I love teaching acting to students that want to learn. I teach all aspects of performing: stage acting, film act
ing, scene study, audition preparation, voice work, etc.

I am very excited to teach in Denver!

For theater students or new acting students that are looking to build experience and confidence in front of the camera. About Christian

Very knowledgable teacher! Christian is patient with me as a beginner and has a great teaching method whereby he never tells you exactly how to perform a piece, as that is not what acting is about.

I don't know about you (yes you, the one reading this), but I've been secretly wanting to act my whole life and am a full of life personality with hidden insecurities. Even though I have never really acted professionally, I have been theatrical and playing all sorts of characters, speaking in accents and dancing to everything in front of the mirror, in comfortable social gatherings and have even put on shows for my pets and husband! Last time I acted "professionally" was in a high school play. And even then, I mostly helped make the props!

I tell you this, because, with that kind of a background, nervous and yet SO excited to JUST TRY, I chose Christian as my teacher- my professor of Acting!

I am 3 classes in and Christian is very supportive, non-judgemental and extremely easy to learn with. I am impressed with his skills, his ability to immediately decipher something I'm trying to explain, and then how easy he makes it for me to put his constructive feedback into practice. The practice is not easy... because that stuff always takes hard work, but he explains it all so easily so I can start practicing and exploring the acting world. He is honest about the acting world, the people in it and the various steps it takes to get to wherever you are trying to get! So be honest with yourself and let this be an authentic and fun experience! Plus, it's so nice to talk to someone that actually gets what it's like to be dreaming!

Thanks Christian!
