Let's get moving! I can teach you a number of styles or focus on one in particular that you like. My background is mainly in ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theatre dancing. No one is too young or old to learn some moves!

About Carissa
Hi! I'm Carissa, a working actor and playwright, and would love to work with you on your craft! I grew up heavily immersed in the arts from a young age. For Middle School and High School I attended one of the top Performing Arts schools in the State of California, where I was able to take classes such as ballet, tap, jazz, acting, and playwriting daily. After that, I earned a spot in, and graduated from, the BFA Acting program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. After taking a year to work professionally in theatre and television, I moved to Ireland to earn my MFA in Playwriting from The Lir Academy (an affiliate school of London's RADA). Teaching has been a big part of my life, from private study to running theatre camps for kids. I'm well versed in the drama school audition trail and would love to help you prepare fo
r this exciting time! I also offer playwriting lessons/critique, and beginner lessons in dance (ballet, jazz, tap). I look forward to hearing from you!

My approach to Bellydance is all about body awareness. I work with students on understanding body mechanics in order to eventually be able to layer increasingly complex, grounded and fluid movements. Wether your goal is professional dance or simply to enjoy a new hobby, classes are tailored to your needs!

Private classes are 30 mins-2 hours. The first half of class focuses exercises to help pinpoint the right muscles. The second half is on our feet performing drills and dancing!

About Devon
Hi there, I’m a Bellydance teacher and performer based in Los Angeles!

I began belly dancing at the age of twelve with Tracy Windisch at the School of Performing Arts and Cultural Education in Ukiah California. At age 14 I joined her company Troupe Sattya who performed in festivals, private parties, and shows in Northern California including Health and Harmony, Sol Fest, and Tribal Fest. I currently teach at LABA in Los Angeles!

My Bellydance background is primarily in tribal fusion/cabaret. I also have training in modern, ballet and jazz technique.

Let’s dance!

Keomi has a lot of positive energy and is sensitive to the the skill levels of her students so she tailors her classes to give just enough challenge while building on students’ strengths and experiences.
Keomi gives a great cardio workout where you really sweat yet the class is so fun that you don’t notice how hard you are working!
You WILL learn many classic hip hop moves which Keo strings together to make a sexy/cool but accessible choreography. You come out of class feeling blissed - both for the vigorous workout and for accomplishing the dance moves! This is a great class for all levels.

Cutting Shapes and Shuffle are two easy to learn but wildly cool dance styles that that evolved from the ever-growing culture of Electronic Dance Music otherwise known as EDM. While most may not know it outside Party Rock, this dance has a wealth of flexibility and style to it. It's extremely customizable, adaptive, and easy for anyone to pick up. You start off with three moves, and then you add onto it as you go.

I'll cover the three basic moves and how to transition them, and as you advance, we will work on combinations and developing your own personal style.

About Keith
My name is Keith, I'm 24, and I'm a self-taught artist of many fields. Currently working part time with a school that teaches STEM Interests, Electives, Engineering and Creative classes to kids and adults alike.

I am hugely creative and technical individual. In my spare time I employ everything I teach for fun, whether it be writing, or cosplaying. (You know those people you see walking around those big nerd conventions every year with the cool costumes? Comic-Con and Anime Expo? I'm one of those guys!)

People have told me I'm very easy to talk to, approachable, and fun. Very positive, very outgoing and confident. I have a big belief in everyones potential. Talent is a pursued interest. Anything you want to learn, you absolutely can. All you have to do is open your mind to it, and practice

I'm very passionate about my teachings
, and when we talk, you'll hear it. I am enthralled with the world, and how things work. Everything is so cool and so exciting, there's nothing not to love. Getting to share that everyday would be a joy in and of itself.

Keith and I were collaborative writing partners for approximately four and a half months and every conversation was an absolute delight. I learned so much useful material about clarification of language, characterization and development. Keith is not only patient, but in depth. He takes time to fully explain concepts and is clearly passionate about everything he says and does. He's a rare creative mind in a world of two-dimensional thinkers and I feel extremely humbled that he gives such genuine support and inspiration every time we speak. Keith is a critical thinker who always takes the time to process your writing before giving feedback and his feedback is always fair and suggests different options to help my improvement. He is an all-around amazing collaborator and has limitless writing talent of his own. Anybody would be very lucky to have his guiding assistance.
