Russian language spoken by over 250 million people. It is a beautiful language that grew and developed as loyal companion to the unique Russian culture. It's development was shaped with by some of the best writers and poets in the world, such as Pushkin and Tolstoy.
I believe that teaching a language without a well integrated cultural component is akin to crime, as doing so will deprive the student of opportunity of obtaining a gateway to understanding Russian culture... and perhaps a "mysterious Russian soul."
