Online or In-Person Oil Painting Lessons with Las Vegas, Nevada based Carolyn K. are for beginner thru intermediate level artists who have never been taught, or perhaps never mastered, a step-by-step way of approaching painting whether it be in oils or acrylics.
Carolyn has a unique, fun and easy way of interacting with students and conveying information, sure to delight students! We'll go over drawing and painting techniques. Open Canvas software preferred, and drawing tablet is required. We can also use Photoshop.

I have been a professional oil painter for 36 years and have taught oil and acrylic painting classes fro over a decade. I teach a casual, fun but serious style class. My goal is to teach the basics of creating a simple strong painting in a semi realistic style. However, my goal is to allow the student to develop their own individual style. Understanding the creative process is also key to making good art.
