Hey! I'm an experienced mathematics and physics tutor with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from UCSD. I have been tutoring privately and at various institutions (Sylvan, Kumon, Cambridge Learning Center) and offer high quality sessions tailored to each individual. I'm dedicated to making sure each concept is understood fully by emphasizing fundamentals and explaining solutions step-by-step. I easily connect with students and I strive to instill in them everything they need to stay motivated and reach their full potential.

I have a BS in Physics and a Masters degree in Astrophysics, and I've been tutoring for 11 years. I was also a teaching assistant for astronomy classes for three years, so I've got lots of experience helping people with math and physics. I know that the best way to learn physics is by solving practice problems, and I help my students become proficient at that. I even create my own problems to target areas of weakness!

As a student, I studied physics and chemistry in high school, and earned a 5's on all four of my AP exams for math and science.
In college, I continued in the Physics Department at USC and completed calculus-based physics coursework in: particle mechanics & dynamics, electricity & magnetism, thermodynamics (oh boy!), and statics. This was in tandem with corresponding coursework in General and Organic Chemistry, Geochemistry, Calculus, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations and Statistics
