I've been singing professionally for 16 years. I've sung my own show at Carnegie Hall. I was Gaston in the national tour of Beauty and the Beast and I never missed one of our 326 shows. I can get you on the Gaston regimen in as little as one lesson.

I love teaching others to sing and perform, and I've been doing so for over 20 years - through private lessons, music theater workshops, music schools and choruses. I work with students at all levels and help them to build a solid technique that works for them.

I have been teaching voice for 17 years now. I have taught to students aged between 17 - 60 and also have worked with children aged between 4 - 14 and helped them get into children choruses in opera houses as well as preparing them later for conservatory auditions.As i am also a biodynamic breathwork trauma release system therapist , miyofascial energy release massage therapist and holding meditation workshops , i have a deeper understanding of body pressure , tension release . I also use human voice to release trauma combined with breathwork and use breath and bodywork to use voice as a whole instrument. Through these techniques i can also help you find a real connection with your heart center and work on your music through these techniques. Great singing comes from being the song itself , staying in the flow , releasing and freeing yourself with the air , while you are balanced in your body and in the spine. I have an M.M. in vocal performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and have extensive operatic training. I teach an open throat technique (appoggio) that allows the singer to sing with freedom, and access their entire range evenly. I also work with students to develop style, interpretation, languages, and acting ability.

I have been teaching and singing professionally for 10 years and hold a Master of Music degree in vocal performance and pedagogy. My teaching philosophy centers on healthy vocal technique grounded in proper breath support and vocal placement. I believe that once this is established, the principles can be applied to any genre of music you wish to sing! Classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop, you name it! I want my students to be proud of their unique vocal capabilities and have the confidence to share it whenever they step on stage.

I have taught classical vocal lessons in the past, and I feel they are a strong foundation for any type of singing style. I like to focus on breathing techniques, pronunciation, scales/vocal warm-ups, getting a nice tone, note recognition, head voice vs. chest voice.
