I have a personal approach to each student. I believe that everyone is different so the job of the instructor is to figure out what works for a particular student and how to present it best for faster, better understanding. I also believe that a good teacher is one that not only teaches the violin but plays it actively, professionally.

I have been teaching professionally for the past six years. As a student who struggled myself in nearly every aspect of education, I understand the importance of individualized learning. As a teacher and performer, I look to find relationships between the emotional and intellectual facets of music. By doing this, I try to uncover the mystery of violin playing, allowing my students to gain an understanding that will last with them forever.

Every single student posseses the potential to fulfill his or her violinistic dreams. I cater my teaching around the goals of each student, while still instilling a high artistic integrity.

Though I center each lesson around building a superior technical foundation, duet playing, the theory of harmony, and aural skills are integral parts of my teaching. I strive for my students to develope a beautiful, in-tune, pure sound that can directly connect to their own emotional palette.

I have been playing the violin/viola for 20 years and teaching for about 11 years. I am a professional musician with music degrees from the Juilliard School and Eastman School of Music. I currently work for Ensemble Connect at Carnegie Hall and teach music at my partner school in NYC. I love playing and teaching music!

I tailor my approach to each student. Some students require more technical work, some require interpretive. Both are fascinating and can be taught with structure and clarity.

Violin lessons for all levels, from starters to last conservatory years or masterclasses, international experience in regular teaching (and playing of course) and assistant prestigious Professors, also around Europe, Russian school.

I have been playing since age 4 and teaching privately for 13 years.

A one hour lesson includes 10 minutes scales, 15 minutes etude or exercises and 35 minutes piece. I teach sizuki method up to book 6 or whenever the student wants to switch over to concertos

I recommend sitt scale book and kaiser etudes.
I like to have my student write his/her own exercises until really comfortable reading music
