Heather is first and foremost an amazing teacher!
I came to her as a complete novice at 28 years old. The sound I was producing most people were trying to avoid best they could. My closest would actually just tell me to stop.
After a quick assessment Heather recognized all my problem areas and with a smile pointed out what was positive.
She then proceeded with fun exercises, starting from breathing and on to ear training. She was building me up "block after block" into an educated musician. I could feel myself progress.
She made me hear the difference!

Now not even short 6 months later I am, though still learning, enjoying my music with my friends and family.
Heather is very personable, incredibly perceptive, and her knowledge is very well-rounded. She is somebody that approaches her craft with integrity and is always researching new training material.

"I was 16 years old when I first started with Coren, She has helped me to get an amazing sound out of my voice! I sang every thing in my Nostrils! and my Adam's apple up in my Brain! I started out singing with my church choir, then my church band. My music director said I Should Take some lessons. He gave me Corens number and I set up a lesson for the following Thursday.

I got to the lesson and I was shaking. I've always been an Actor and I've always had this mental block about my voice. But After talking to her, Within the first 5 minutes she had already had me laughing and relaxing in my chair.
