Kevin J. has been writing, recording, and playing music for over 25 years. Music is meant to be fun and it is his goal to help others enjoy music. He has been a teacher for 11 years and has composed hundreds of songs. He is passionate about teaching his students the songs they want to learn, no matter the difficulty. He specialized in guitar, drums, and song writing.

Kevin has a great way of encouraging others to keep going no matter what challenge is in front of them.

My name is Dani Danor. I am a professional drummer and teacher. Drums and music have always been my biggest passion.

My number one goal in teaching is to get my students as excited as I am about this incredible instrument. And why shouldn't they? This is one of the few (if not the only) instruments that use all four limbs simultaneously. How crazy is that? Imagine how many rhythms, sounds and melodies can be created? Endless!

Drums are the heart of the music all around the world! Whether it's rock 'n roll, funk, jazz, hip-hop, salsa, samba, or electronic music, the drums are what make everything feel so good!

I have 17 years experience performing drum set, hand drums, mallets and many other percussion instruments. I received a Bachelor's in Music for Percussion Performance and Music Education from the Sacramento State School of Music and I received my Master's in Music for Percussion Performance from the University of Nevada, Reno. I have experience teaching in public schools (high school and middle school levels), the collegiate level, music camps, and I have maintained a private studio for over two years. I have a method of teaching based on what you want to learn while also going over technique, posture, musicianship and music theory. My teaching is based entirely on the student as many people have different ways of learning so I do my best to make myself clear. My goal is to make lessons fun and informative, so let's enjoy the journey of making music!

My lessons are both fun and educational, with flexibility to honor each student's needs and goals. During my time as a drummer, I have had the pleasure of studying music with Dr. Richard Ripani, Eddie Bell, and renowned big band drummer Duffy Jackson in Nashville, TN. I graduated in May 2017 with a degree in Studio Music/Jazz Performance at UT Knoxville, studying with Professor Keith Brown. I want to pass on all the knowledge I gained from them to you! I've been teaching Drums since 2004 and recently started back January 2013. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to play all rudiments and as time goes on you'll be able to play in bands and in JH and HS bands. I typically use the Haskell Harr, and now include Alfred's Drum Method book for Snare; Tommy Igo for drum-set. His posters from Vic Firth are great resources (which I send out to new students). I love working with students of all ages and experience levels; I can't wait to meet you!
